Q-BTC Core v2.5.0 is now available. This release sets the activation height for witness commitments, establishes an updated chain checkpoint, and includes routine transaction validation and RPC hardening.

Node operators and miners should upgrade prior to block 25,000.

Notable Changes

  • Consensus: Witness commitment activation scheduled at block 25,000.
  • Checkpoints: Added checkpoint at block 22,800.
  • Validation: Hardened mempool memory limits and duplicate transaction validation.
  • RPC: Added host header validation and CORS origin controls for reverse-proxy deployments.
