Changelog and tagging

QQQ 4.0 release. Final 4.0.0 is available. See QQQ 4.0 for release scope and migration guidance.

Use signed conventional commits that describe the actual change. Record breaking behavior and migration steps in the source migration guide and release notes; examples of commit syntax are not feature announcements.

Release provenance

For every published version, record the source commit, immutable tag, successful CI workflow, artifact coordinates, and consumer verification. Final core publication is triggered by the configured exact vX.Y.Z tag filter. A main merge, a manually created tag, or a GitHub release page does not independently prove Maven Central publication.

Prepare release notes from the final reviewed diff. State availability accurately, distinguish candidate from final, and describe compatibility changes and remaining limitations. Check all 18 core coordinates rather than a single JAR. Keep the dashboard's independent 0.41.0 version visible.

Never move a published version tag or replace an immutable artifact. A release correction requires a new version and renewed checks. Follow the protected PR and release process for code changes, tag authorization, and publication.
