v1.3.8 - Unified MCP and sandbox agent installation

  • fable-mode setup installs the full 40-file skill and prints both usage routes.
  • Native MCP agents run the normal stdio MCP server; shell-only agents use fable-mode call over bounded JSON Lines with the same real Fable session engine.
  • The shell process stays alive across calls, so time-locks and session authority work correctly.
  • Rejects malformed input, missing actions, non-object JSON, empty requests, and payloads over 1 MiB.
  • fable-mode call output is pinned to UTF-8 so Windows pipes (cp1252 default) carry session text reliably; wheel end-to-end tests decode UTF-8 explicitly.
  • uvx and pip follow one installation model; README and docs explain both environments.

Full CI: 10/10 jobs green (Ubuntu, macOS, Windows x Python 3.10-3.12 + policy probes).
