@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Sep 19:27

Brings the fork up to date with upstream T3 Code and fixes three desktop problems from 0.0.53.

Fixes

  • Opening the Related PRs menu on a pull request without a stack no longer crashes the desktop app.
  • Picking an element in the browser preview now keeps its screenshot. The desktop policy blocked the image conversion, so every annotation lost its crop.
  • On Windows, a WSL runtime that fails to start now reports the real cause, such as a missing libatomic.so.1, instead of an unrelated node-pty message. See the install guide for the one-line fix inside the distro.

From upstream (55 commits)

  • Queued messages: sending while a turn runs parks the message and sends it after the next tool call or when the turn ends.
  • Background repository clones from Add Project, with live progress and cancel.
  • Inline worktree setup with async setup scripts; the agent starts right after checkout and setup state persists across reloads and devices.
  • Custom snooze dates and durations.
  • Composer keyboard shortcuts for model, host, effort, access mode, workspace, and branch, plus copy PR number.
  • iPad hardware keyboard shortcuts and a command palette.
  • Thread titles follow user intent and refine once after the first turn; manual renames are never overwritten.
  • OTLP exporter headers and protobuf protocol via T3CODE_OTLP_HEADERS and T3CODE_OTLP_PROTOCOL.
  • Performance: bounded Git process bursts, streamed terminal output, faster worktree fetch, no duplicate desktop startup, and providers no longer refresh on every config subscription.
  • Restored WSL provider Node discovery and npm-based service updates.

RTVision integrations (Gitea and GitLab providers, Vim navigation, inline CI runs) are preserved on top of the upstream changes.

Validation: typecheck passes for every workspace, focused tests pass for web, server, desktop, client-runtime, and shared. Browser verification of the sync was not done.

Windows and Linux desktop installers, standalone CLI archives, and the Node/npm package are included. Alpine hosts should use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/.
