RTVision T3 Code 0.0.74

Syncs 81 upstream commits from b77108bc41506ad7ba28839d9a8e04ba79fe340b through 30cc788975500a8c00d32a50f348174d1ce578d1. Release source is c7ae202f2ea8df40930a7bc9f91448885f1338a9, merged in PR #83. The PR records every upstream commit and all 66 fork-overlap decisions.

New features

  • MCP Apps render inline in web and mobile threads, with fullscreen support and Codex-backed tool operations. RTVision adds destination permission checks before approval and execution.
  • The web rich composer supports block Markdown and code blocks. Quote chips show the annotation attached to a quote.
  • Find in diffs with Cmd+F searches folded and unchanged lines. RTVision Vim search uses this upstream engine with count, repeat, and cleanup support.
  • Desktop Settings can install or remove the bundled t3 command. Windows shows the absolute launcher path and its command-precedence caveat.
  • Mobile adopts v5 navigation and native iPad columns, and redesigns Add environment.
  • Agents can see snooze state and link to threads by durable IDs. Live rows show the agent's latest thought. Projectless threads show their machine in the sidebar.
  • Claude Haiku 5.5 is available; Sonnet 5 and Opus 5 move to legacy. Claude 5-series models use 1M context.

Server and provider fixes

  • Git status refresh avoids CPU spikes in repositories with thousands of untracked files. Background branch lookups share a GitHub query per sweep.
  • Threads settle when a client observes their PR merge. Cleanup handles squash merges, terminal thread states, hidden untracked files, and Windows long paths conservatively.
  • Background Claude subagent work remains visible while the parent is idle. Refused turns preserve their session, and prompts no longer hang on a UUID already held by the session.
  • Idle Codex threads unload from the shared app server. RTVision binds unload timers to their originating runtime and cancels them on replacement.
  • Command replay and long-thread reads use indexed paths to avoid server stalls. Held queued wakes no longer keep delegated tasks running. Messages sent during rollback no longer undo it.
  • GitHub services use the API directly, share a variable-based GraphQL pager, and read response quotas. RTVision preserves exact-host/repository checkout safeguards, Gitea/Forgejo, CI, viewed files, dependencies, granular reactions, and destination grants. Ordinary GitHub Update branch again uses upstream authorization.
  • Missing project folders no longer cause favicon warnings. A stale renamed test helper is corrected.

Web and desktop fixes

  • Running subagent cards stay visible after the parent settles; lineage retains effort and speed after completion. Lineage controls use Stop on hover instead of timers.
  • Onboarding can continue when selected machines will not connect. Type-to-focus no longer scrambles fast typing. Thread-read activity uses live names, and thread links no longer bake in titles.
  • Rich-composer carets restore correctly after a code fence whose info string contains a mention. Cancelling a citation leaves no stray space. Short messages containing quotes or links retain their content.
  • Provider updates show live progress. Copy MCP URL works for plain HTTP environments. More languages receive file icons.
  • PR skeletons match the detail layout; file names, toolbar, commit menu, scrollbar gutter, and file statistics behave correctly in narrow panels and with whitespace hidden. RTVision retains viewed folding, dependency navigation, private Markdown, and grant checks; CI remains accessible without a status rollup.
  • Workspace rows and headers, project monograms, command-palette scrolling, Usage breadcrumbs, and iPhone Duo folds receive layout fixes.
  • Desktop browser sign-in and captcha flows resume correctly. Setup prompts name a command that works with desktop installs.

Mobile fixes and performance

  • Disabled environments' threads are hidden. The Android composer picker scrolls beyond its first four rows. File viewer and diff insets align with glass headers.
  • Cached thread lists appear sooner. Bounded snapshots omit duplicate items, hidden screens pause timers and list updates, and cache saves reuse encoded rows.
  • Git status stops refreshing on every streamed item and avoids the Git-sheet refresh loop. It refreshes after reconnect, and iOS Git menus follow current status.
  • Move-menu indexes and thread-key lookups avoid unnecessary allocation; unchanged settled rows reuse their sort. Normal builds skip showcase subscriptions and unused project sorting.
  • iOS memory warnings trigger UI runtime collection. Source highlighting runs in small batches while retaining grammar state.

RTVision compatibility

Upstream replaces the duplicate fork diff search and obsolete GitHub CLI services. Fork behavior remains where still needed: Gitea/Forgejo, terminal editors, SSH/WSL runner and account selection, grammar support, low-disk handling, registry/update routing, and release packaging.

Node/npm and OpenRC installations retain the node_modules/t3/dist/bin.mjs and service-launcher paths. Alpine uses the Node/npm package and builds node-pty for musl; the standalone Linux archive requires glibc. Windows desktop includes the matching Linux archive for WSL.

The inherited npm Linux resource monitor is glibc-linked and lacks its executable bit. Native resource telemetry is therefore unavailable through that npm payload, including on Alpine. Node service and PTY compatibility are qualified separately. Desktop and standalone payloads retain their executable monitor.

Use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/. Desktop and standalone updates use this repository. Desktop installers are unsigned. No live service restart or deployment is part of this release.

Validation

Primary review and independent GPT-6 Astra reviews approved the exact source candidate; merged source is byte-identical. CodeRabbit skipped 411 files against its 100-file limit, so the maintainer-authorized large-diff fallback was used. Final-candidate and merged-head CI and release builds passed. All eleven assets, SHA256SUMS, updater metadata, CLI/npm layouts, installer payloads, and the embedded WSL archive were verified.

Clean Node24.18.1/Alpine installation of the exact tarball passed CLI version, normal and legacy service preflight, and real node-pty execution. The existing optional OpenCode client peer declaration still reports an Effect metadata mismatch in npm ls; the patched client is bundled, no external client import remains, and the required runtime probes pass. This is a retained advisory rather than a clean dependency-metadata result.

Published registry metadata and tarball bytes match the verified npm asset and SHA-512 integrity. A second clean Alpine install from the registry using the legacy t3 npm alias passed CLI, normal and legacy service preflight, and real PTY checks.
