Hibiscus 0.8.18 makes editing and AI workflows more dependable.

  • Start a conversation in the right-side Assistant even when no note is open.
  • Replace AI replies predictably: the original selection, the current selection, or the whole note is now targeted explicitly.
  • Delete multiple selected notes with Cmd+Delete without opening them in separate windows.
  • Drop or paste supported documents directly into a note to insert their contents instead of a file path. Images are saved as inline attachments, and drops onto the blank editor create one note.
  • Pin the compatible audio dependency release to keep clean builds reliable.
