Hibiscus 0.8.19 makes everyday note capture and editing more reliable.

  • Quick Capture now saves consistently, including during first-time setup.
  • New notes stay clean and temporary until you actually start writing.
  • Rapid typing no longer loses the end of the first sentence.
  • Archived notes can be restored by clicking the complete row.
  • Activity now counts words written from a fresh blank note.
  • Shortcut settings detect conflicts across Quick Capture, AI Actions, transformations, and app commands.
  • AI readiness, permissions, update checks, and manual QA builds now report and isolate their state more accurately.
  • Expanded native macOS regression coverage for note creation, Quick Capture, archive restore, Settings, onboarding, and rapid note switching.
