Hub 1.0.27: your Game Boy Advance ROM

Choose a tag to compare

@RaYRoD-TV RaYRoD-TV released this 16 Oct 03:49

Games that use a Game Boy Advance ROM, like Mario Kart: Super Circuit, can now be set up: the hub asks for your .gba file in words that say exactly what to pick, opens a zip that holds it, checks it, and remembers it so it never asks twice. The game list is also quieter, with rows sitting flat until you point at them.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit VR patch 1

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@RaYRoD-TV RaYRoD-TV released this 16 Oct 02:10

Mario Kart: Super Circuit VR, patch 1. An early test build for the experimental shelf of the Multiverse VR Hub.

The hub installs it over the official Mario Kart: Super Circuit recompilation v0.0.3 by Matthew Stanley (github.com/mstan/MarioKartSuperCircuitRecomp). You bring your own Mario Kart: Super Circuit (USA) ROM. No game files are in this download, and it is free and never sold, because the recompilation is under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0.

This is an early test build. I have measured it on my desktop rig and have not tried every part in a headset yet.

Hub 1.0.22: the book is the window

Choose a tag to compare

@RaYRoD-TV RaYRoD-TV released this 12 Oct 01:08

The book look is the whole window now. Its two pages run to every edge, the top bar is printed into the page bands, and the status line sits on the paper, so it reads as the app itself instead of a window inside a window. Turn it on with the BOOK switch at the top.

@RaYRoD-TV RaYRoD-TV released this 14 Oct 00:29

In the headset, pointing and pressing works again everywhere, the stand starts 1.2 m away, and BOOK, SOUND and VISUAL EFFECTS sit under the booklet in both looks. The list counts only the games you can play now, and the ones still to come wait folded under COMING SOON at the end.

Multiverse VR Hub 1.0.21

Choose a tag to compare

@RaYRoD-TV RaYRoD-TV released this 07 Oct 23:09

The hub's lettering is redrawn. Multiverse Sans, the typeface drawn from scratch for the hub, now follows the proportions of the light geometric face it was built around, letter for letter. Nothing else changed.
