First public release of RackDaddy Lab - a free-to-use, self-hosted 3D digital-twin DCIM. Model your data room in 3D, track cabinets, devices, ports and cabling, and drive a live thermal heatmap and power figures from your own telemetry. Runs as a single Docker Compose stack.

Highlights

  • Real-time 3D scene with a live thermal heatmap and slideshow mode
  • Cabinets, devices, ports, and a bundled device-type library (thousands of types, no import) with a one-click real-image download
  • Structured cabling, cable runs, and a connection inspector
  • Power dashboard and distribution-board breaker mapping
  • Bring-your-own live monitoring: bind InfluxDB, SNMP, or Modbus under Data Sources (vendor-neutral)
  • Capacity checks, a capped taste of IPAM and VLANs, local users, ntfy alerts, and a visual Site Configurator
  • Installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on desktop or mobile
