- Full offline POS/inventory workflow: barcode + camera scanning, GST- inclusive pricing, discounts, loyalty, dues, returns/exchanges, store credit, multi-currency, multiple payment methods.
- Three receipt paths: browser print dialog, PDF download, direct USB
ESC/POS (kernel
usblptransport by default on Linux). - Sales dashboard with charts (revenue trend, top products, payment mix) and CSV export.
- Barcode/QR label generator for products with no existing code.
- GST/PAN structural validation, GST state-code decode, admin CSV import for HSN/SAC, PIN code, and IFSC reference data.
- Staff accounts with admin/cashier roles.
- Four install paths: Docker Compose (any OS), native Windows
.exeinstaller, native Debian/Ubuntu.debpackage, CasaOS/ZimaOS app (compose-URL install, ready now; official app-store listing not yet submitted). - Responsive UI (works from a phone/tablet, not just desktop) and a premium dark visual design.
- Optional HTTPS front doors for camera access from other LAN devices: self-signed via a bundled Caddy profile, or a Cloudflare Tunnel profile for external/no-cert-warning access.
- Full HSN/SAC, PIN code, IFSC, city/district catalogs. These are large (tens of thousands to ~150k rows), frequently revised by CBIC/RBI/India Post, and shipping a stale or inaccurate copy risks real tax-filing or banking errors — worse than not having the feature. The app instead supports admin CSV import of the official government datasets, so accuracy stays on you and the source, not a fabricated snapshot baked into the app.
- Multi-tenant / hosted-SaaS mode. Out of scope by design — see Home § Philosophy. This is a single-shop, single-till tool; if you need multi-location, run one instance per location.
-
CasaOS/ZimaOS official app-store submission — the manifest is
submission-ready in
casaos/, but the PR againstIceWhaleTech/CasaOS-AppStorehasn't been opened yet. - Ongoing hardening of camera-scan reliability (resolution/focus/format coverage) as real-world printer/scanner hardware reports come in — see Troubleshooting for the specific bugs already found and fixed this way.
