v1.0.40: Event-based Todo Continuation
What's New
🚀 Major Improvement: Event-Based Todo Continuation
The previous implementation used fragile string matching and toast notifications which didn't reliably keep the agent working when there were pending TODOs. This release implements a robust event-based solution.
Changes
Core Features:
- Event-driven continuation: Listens for
session.idleevent when agent stops working - Programmatic prompt injection: Uses
ctx.client.session.prompt()to inject continuation messages - Smart throttling: 30-second cooldown per session to avoid spam
- Session refresh: Reloads session data on idle to ensure fresh TODO state
Agent Updates:
- ORXA agent now creates plan files directly instead of delegating
- Added
.orxa/to .gitignore for user plan files
CI/CD Improvements:
- Removed version sync from publish workflow (fixes detached HEAD issue)
- Removed delegation section warning console output
How It Works
- When the agent completes work, OpenCode fires
session.idleevent - Plugin detects pending TODOs for that session
- Injects a continuation prompt: "You have pending TODOs that need to be completed. Continue working on the next pending task without asking for permission..."
- Agent automatically continues working on remaining tasks
Testing
✅ All 516 tests pass
✅ Tested in real-world usage
✅ Visual feedback via toast notifications

Migration
After updating, run npm install -g agent-device and npm install -g agent-browser && agent-browser install to install the new CLI tools.
v1.0.38 - ORXA Orchestration Mode Fixes
What's Changed
Bug Fixes
- Fixed ORXA orchestration mode incorrectly activating - Orchestration mode now only activates via slash command, not on normal messages
- Fixed supermemory context triggering false orchestration detection - Detector now correctly identifies user messages vs injected context
- Fixed subagent delegation fields - Updated to use 'prompt' field for 6-section content and 'description' for short titles
- Fixed agent detection for subagents - Subagents no longer inherit ORXA write restrictions
Performance Improvements
- Optimized session loading - Skip expensive API calls for subagents, reducing delegation startup from minutes to seconds
Features
- Added slash command support - 8 new commands: /orchestrate, /validate, /refactor, /explain, /test, /debug, /commit, /search
- Automatic command installation - Commands copied to ~/.config/opencode/command/ during postinstall
Changes
- Simplified 6-section template validation (warning only)
- Updated postinstall to preserve user model overrides
- Removed summary validation from delegation enforcer
- Updated all agent YAMLs with improved instructions
Testing
- All 516 tests passing
- TypeScript compilation successful
- Linter checks passing
Release v1.0.37
What's New
Bug Fixes
1. ORXA Blocked from Supermemory (Case-Sensitive Bug)
- File: src/middleware/delegation-enforcer.ts
- Bug: Used agentName !== "orxa" (case-sensitive check)
- Fix: Changed to !isOrxa (uses case-insensitive check)
- Result: ORXA can now add to supermemory regardless of capitalization
2. orxa.model Config Override Not Applied
- File: src/config-handler.ts
- Bug: Only checked agent_overrides, not orxa.model from config
- Fix: Added logic to apply fullOrxaConfig.orxa.model to agent if specified
- Result: User's model preference (e.g., kimi-for-coding/kimi-k2.5) is now properly respected
Quality
- All 533 tests passing
- Lint clean
- TypeScript check clean
- Build successful
Upgrade Recommended
This release fixes two critical bugs that prevented ORXA from functioning correctly with user configurations.
Release v1.0.36
What's New
Bug Fixes
- Reverted agent model back to opencode/kimi-k2.5 (correct default)
- Reverted default-config.ts model back to opencode/kimi-k2.5
- Updated all tests to expect opencode/kimi-k2.5
Important
Built-in agents should use opencode/ as the provider. Users who want to use a different provider (like kimi-for-coding/) should set this in their local ~/.config/opencode/orxa/orxa.json config:
{
"orxa": {
"model": "kimi-for-coding/kimi-k2.5"
}
}Quality
- All 533 tests passing
Release v1.0.35
What's New
Bug Fixes
- Updated orxa agent model to kimi-for-coding/kimi-k2.5
- Updated default config to match agent model
- Updated tests to reflect new model
Note
This release was later reverted in v1.0.36. Built-in agents should use opencode/ as the provider. Users can override in their local orxa.json config if needed.
Release v1.0.34
What's New
Bug Fixes
- Fixed critical config migration bug that was injecting unwanted subagents.overrides
- Fixed orxa.model being overwritten during config migration
- Migration template now uses empty subagents.overrides {} instead of hardcoded values
- Removed orxa.model from migration template to preserve user's custom model
Impact
- User's subagents.overrides are now preserved (empty or custom)
- User's orxa.model is now preserved (not overwritten with default)
- New fields are still added if missing from user config
- pluginVersion is still updated to track changes
Quality
- All 533 tests passing
- Config migration preserves all user customizations
