HOW TO DELETE THIS PAWNIO FILE????

Dude, your program installed pawnio and it is absolutely fucking me right now, It was never an issue before but faceit is blocking it all of a sudden, I have not installed anything in months, I have not changed anything, and yet

I cannot remove this "pawnio.sys" file, fancontrol is not running, no other program using this file is open, but yet, I cannot delete this file, says it's open in a program, and I'm at the peak level of frustration that I'm making my first ever issue on github.

I am a Chinese user, and I am using Google Translate.
If you are using Windows 10, press Win + R, type control, and hit Enter to open the Control Panel. Under "Programs and Features," you will find Pawnio; simply uninstall it.
On Windows 11, you can find the same option within the system's Settings panel; proceed to uninstall it there as well.
This should resolve the issue.

Yeah tried that, wouldn't let me uninstall it from add or remove programs because it said it was already uninstalled, I ended up having to boot into safe mode to delete the file and now everything is working.

Seems like there is a process accessing PawnIO still. Do you got FanControl open or any other app that relies on PawnIO?

If you ain't sure, boot into safe mode, then uninstall from there.

Thanks for the reply. I managed to get around it by logging in via safe mode. Shift Deleting the folder entirely. I hope I didn't cater to a disaster. Also, do MSI Afterburner and Riva use it?
