CC Switch advisor + GPT-6 Sol/Luna review-fix test
Combined test build for advisor PR farion1231#7596 (including the review fixes) and GPT-6 Sol/Luna PR farion1231#7597. Source commit: aed249a.
Windows EXE and Apple Silicon DMG are built from the combined test branch. The macOS app is ad-hoc signed and verified after DMG packaging, but is not Apple-notarized; see README.md for the Gatekeeper command if macOS blocks it.
These are for manual testing; the two upstream PRs remain separate.
GPT-6 Sol and Luna test - Windows + Apple Silicon
CC Switch now identifies as Codex 0.155.0 for both Fetch Models and ChatGPT Codex requests. With the previous 0.153.4 identity, Luna returned HTTP 400 and Sol/Luna were absent from the model list. Tiny live requests with 0.155.0 completed for both models.
Download CC-Switch-Advisor-Test.exe for Windows or CC-Switch-Sol-Luna-macos-15.zip for Apple Silicon Mac. Quit the old test app first. To retain sign-ins from an earlier isolated test build, replace its app in the same folder and keep its test-profile and launcher. Each Start-* launcher uses a folder-local profile; opening the app directly uses ~/.cc-switch by default. The app identity alone does not select the OAuth store. The Mac ZIP is ad-hoc signed, not notarized. README.md has opening and test instructions.
Native Windows and Apple Silicon jobs each passed 273 Rust tests, 24 frontend tests, and typecheck. The Mac job verified arm64 architecture, strict signature before and after ZIP extraction, and a 10-second startup with the main window shown. Checksums are in SHA256SUMS.txt. Your own CC Switch model selection and request test remains pending.

Advisor + localhost Artifact fallback - Mac test
Apple Silicon Mac testing build with the same fixes as the latest local Windows EXE.
Includes the advisor 1M checkbox, corrected tool-argument streaming, compaction timeout/error fixes, Artifact schema compatibility, and the new localhost fallback. When a converted-provider model calls Artifact, CC Switch returns guidance that claude.ai hosting is unavailable and directs the model to create/serve HTML locally and verify the URL.
Download CC-Switch-Advisor-macos-15.zip, quit the old test app, extract the ZIP on your Mac, and open CC Switch Advisor Test.app. Keep your existing profile/settings. The optional launcher uses a fresh, separate test profile.
This is an ad-hoc signed, unnotarized test app. See README for Apple's Open Anyway instructions and checksums in SHA256SUMS.txt. Actual localhost preview behavior still needs your manual test; no new live model requests were used.
Source: ab13462aa5491f8e839b7d19a77022da3dd3355a on feat/same-provider-advisor. An upstream advisor PR remains gated on manual Windows/Mac testing.
Verified on the native Apple Silicon runner: 273 Rust tests and 24 frontend tests passed, typecheck passed, the app displayed its main window and stayed running for 10 seconds, and strict signature verification passed both before and after ZIP extraction. The downloaded ZIP matches the CI SHA-256. Mac build and checks.
Advisor 1M checkbox - test
Adds the missing 1M checkbox beside Advisor model. It uses the same saved [1M] marker as the other models, preserves the selection when changing models, and clears when the advisor is disabled. Usage reports the canonical model name.
The advisor context byte guard is 2 MiB normally and 8 MiB when 1M is checked. The provider still determines its actual token limit; this checkbox cannot grant a larger context window to a model that lacks one.
Downloads: Windows ZIP includes the EXE and isolated-profile launcher; macos-15.zip is Apple Silicon and macos-15-intel.zip is Intel. Mac apps use full ad-hoc bundle signing and remain unnotarized; see README for Open Anyway instructions and the separate Mac launcher.
Source: 7079d00d4e206f75a76cfbb824a866c9f708ab29, branch feat/same-provider-advisor. This is a new test release; the previously tested advisor release is unchanged. No upstream advisor PR has been opened, pending manual Windows/Mac checks.
No new live model requests were made for this checkbox change. The original advisor's real-client proof is baseline evidence; the new 1M request wiring and size guards are covered by local HTTP/regression tests.
All three CI platforms passed 84 focused Rust tests and 24 UI tests, plus native builds. Both Mac apps passed strict signature verification before and after ZIP extraction, and native startup. TypeScript, formatting, and local Clippy also passed. Verification run.
Local Windows startup remains unverified for this revision because the older running test instance prevented a second copy from starting. Quit it before launching the update. Manual validation remains the gate for the upstream advisor PR.
CC Switch 3.20.1 — Issue 7129 _test
Issue farion1231#7129 test build
Testing prerelease for upstream PR #7132, based on CC Switch 3.20.1.
The fix shares the Codex OAuth client identity (codex_cli_rs / 0.153.4) between model discovery and generation. It addresses the reported GPT-6 HTTP 400 error requiring a newer Codex client.
Downloads and testing
- Windows x64: download
CC-Switch-Issue-7129-Test.exeandStart-Test.cmdinto the same folder, then runStart-Test.cmd. - Apple Silicon Mac: download and extract
CC-Switch-Issue-7129-macos-15.zip. - Intel Mac: download and extract
CC-Switch-Issue-7129-macos-15-intel.zip. - Either Mac: place
Start-Mac-Test.commandbeside the extractedCC Switch Issue 7129 Test.app, then runbash Start-Mac-Test.commandfrom that folder.
Use the launchers to keep configuration in a separate test-profile folder. Directly launching the application uses your normal home-directory configuration. Close your normal CC Switch before enabling local routing to avoid a port conflict. The Windows build is unsigned. The Mac apps now have verified ad-hoc bundle signatures, but are not Developer ID signed or notarized. After attempting to open the Mac app, use System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway if macOS blocks it, then retry the isolated launcher. Tauri documents this requirement for ad-hoc test apps.
To exercise the fix, add the Codex OAuth preset in the Claude Code tab, sign in with ChatGPT, fetch models, and select gpt-6-astra for the default/Sonnet/Opus mappings. Enable local routing, run Claude Code with CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR pointing to the test profile's .claude directory, and send a short message with the Opus mapping. An account with access to the model is required.
Verification and limits
- Both regression tests failed with the old identity and passed with the fix.
- Windows x64, macOS ARM64, and macOS Intel each passed 70 Rust adapter/discovery tests, 15 frontend tests, type checking, production builds, and startup checks. Platform verification run.
- Live Windows A/B requests to the official Codex endpoint: the old identity returned the reported HTTP 400; the new identity returned HTTP 200 and
OK. These direct requests verify the identity change; regression tests cover the production request builders. - GPT-6 appeared in discovery before and after on the tested account, so the original missing-model-list symptom was not reproduced.
- Mac verification covers native tests, builds, and startup; authenticated live generation was checked on Windows only.
- The broader Windows library suite had 2,762 passed, 3 failed, and 6 ignored. All three failures reproduced on unchanged upstream: two missing symlink privilege errors and one occupied-port error. Integration tests were not reached.
Source fix: ae826835783f45a84474b0b53c50b2a9cdfc226d. The Windows EXE was built locally from this fix. Mac artifacts came from validation commit 99edd0e9aa5a538737eca6a590e72504216bc3eb, which adds only the fork's verification workflow to the same source. The release tag points to the source fix. SHA-256 checksums are attached.
Mac packaging correction (2026-09-05)
The initial Mac downloads contained only the executable's linker signature, leaving the app bundle unsealed. This reproduced the reported code has no resources but signature indicates they must be present failure on both architectures. The replacement archives contain the same built application code with a complete ad-hoc bundle signature.
Packaging verification checks the original archive checksum, reproduces the old signature failure, signs the bundle, verifies it with codesign --verify --deep --strict, and repeats verification after ZIP extraction. Each extracted app must stay running and log that its main window was shown. This runs on macOS 15 ARM64 and Intel; launch on the reporter's macOS 26.5.1 remains to be confirmed. Gatekeeper approval is still required because these testing apps are not notarized.
Download the Mac ZIP again and extract a fresh copy. The original Apple Silicon checksum beginning 83c48959 identifies the superseded package; use the updated attached SHA256SUMS.txt for the corrected downloads.
Same-provider Astra Advisor - test
Same-provider advisor support for Claude Code: choose gpt-6-astra in the provider's new Advisor model field. CC Switch handles the consultation and resumes the working model. Disabled by default; clear the field to turn it off.
A real Claude Code 2.1.261 session completed gpt-5.6-sol -> gpt-6-astra -> gpt-5.6-sol through the production proxy, successfully consulted the advisor, and continued. The public summary contains pass/fail verification flags; prompts, model output, token counts, account identifiers, and credentials are excluded.

Mac apps are ad-hoc signed, not notarized: follow the included README and Apple's Open Anyway instructions. The Mac launcher is a separate release asset; put it beside the extracted app. Enable proxy takeover only in the client profile you intend to test.
Source: 328ad44cf45eb4771341f60f9d669d9472a2e5c2 on feat/same-provider-advisor. Platform verification. Checksums, instructions, and verification evidence accompany the complete release. Upstream PR farion1231#7132 is unchanged; no advisor PR has been opened.
Verified on all three platforms: 83 focused Rust tests and 22 UI tests passed. Both Mac apps passed strict ad-hoc signature checks before and after ZIP extraction, plus native startup. The local Windows EXE passed startup, and Windows CI independently built successfully. These are focused checks; the complete repository suite is not claimed green.
