ZSEC Shield v0.1.2
ZSEC Shield 0.1.2 is a correctness and integration prerelease for the deterministic, on-demand security scanner.
What changed:
- status contract v2 now preserves the last scan outcome, error count, files hashed, and bytes hashed;
- incomplete scans remain explicitly incomplete after a status refresh and cannot be mistaken for a clean zero-finding scan;
- exact legacy-v1 summaries remain readable without inventing missing scan counters;
- strict counter/outcome validation, missing-path regressions, and native status smoke tests were added;
- Windows x86_64, macOS arm64, Linux x86_64, wheel, and source archives were built from clean commit
78efb1186c50efeeedf68bc14044cbc019fc0e8e.
Reviewed Windows archive SHA-256: 62ade4111206e6b0b083c60dd2ccd1b7cbc83452e4067d71ea99ac76364dd13d.
Important boundary: these native preview archives are unsigned. ZSEC Shield is an on-demand scanner, not kernel-level real-time protection or independently certified antivirus. Keep the operating system's built-in protection enabled. Verify SHA256SUMS.txt before use.
ZSEC Shield v0.1.1 Alpha Prerelease
ZSEC Shield 0.1.1 is an alpha, on-demand, deterministic scanner prerelease for evaluation.
Native packages were built and smoke-tested on their matching GitHub-hosted operating systems: Windows x86_64, macOS arm64, and Linux x86_64. The release also includes a Python wheel and source distribution. All five primary assets match the attached SHA256SUMS.txt file, and every native manifest records clean source revision 0a029b2.
Important boundary: these native binaries are unsigned. The manifests explicitly record publisher signing as not performed, on-demand mode, no real-time protection, no telemetry, and zero bundled production trust keys. This is not certified antivirus protection and should be tested in a disposable VM or staging environment before use.
