ZSEC Shield 0.1.2 is a correctness and integration prerelease for the deterministic, on-demand security scanner.

What changed:

  • status contract v2 now preserves the last scan outcome, error count, files hashed, and bytes hashed;
  • incomplete scans remain explicitly incomplete after a status refresh and cannot be mistaken for a clean zero-finding scan;
  • exact legacy-v1 summaries remain readable without inventing missing scan counters;
  • strict counter/outcome validation, missing-path regressions, and native status smoke tests were added;
  • Windows x86_64, macOS arm64, Linux x86_64, wheel, and source archives were built from clean commit 78efb1186c50efeeedf68bc14044cbc019fc0e8e.

Important boundary: these native preview archives are unsigned. ZSEC Shield is an on-demand scanner, not kernel-level real-time protection or independently certified antivirus. Keep the operating system's built-in protection enabled. Verify SHA256SUMS.txt before use.
