Flashback 0.7.38
Flashback 0.7.38
Lighter recording and correct library times.
- Recording does less GPU work for every frame. Each frame used to be scaled into a temporary image and then copied three times on its way to the encoder; it is now scaled straight into the capture surface and copied once, directly into the encoder. On the test PC this cut Flashback's share of the GPU by about 12% while the mouse cursor is hidden, as it is during most matches. Saved clips look exactly the same.
- The capture worker no longer restarts itself shortly after a monitor reconnects. Its health check mistook the normal rise in threads when recording resumed for a leak.
- Screenshots, trimmed clips, and clips without saved details now show their time in your local time instead of UTC.
- If per-game profiles had been switched off as a whole, Settings now shows them as inactive instead of active, and turning a profile on turns the feature back on for that profile only.
Recording quality, frame-rate settings, audio routing, and saved preferences are unchanged.
This release was published without the full hardware qualification run, by explicit owner decision. Signing, package smoke, checksums, and update-feed validation still apply.
