Bondex Notch 1.0.0

The first public release of Bondex Notch: a free, open-source (MIT) macOS utility that turns the display notch into a live, Dynamic Island-style surface.

Requirements: macOS 14 or later. Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Install

1. Download Bondex Notch.dmg below and open it.
2. Drag Bondex Notch into Applications.
3. Launch it from Applications.

First launch

This build is not notarized by Apple, so macOS asks you to confirm it once:

• macOS 15 and later: open the app and choose Done on the warning. Then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, choose Open Anyway, and confirm.
• macOS 14: Control-click the app in Applications, choose Open, then choose Open again.
• Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Bondex Notch.app"

Because the build is unsigned, macOS may ask again for permissions (Automation, Calendar, Downloads) after future updates.
