Release list
v1.0.3
Right-click menus.
Right-clicking a screenshot offers Copy to Clipboard, Save As and Show in
Explorer. Right-clicking a clip offers Export Video and Show in Explorer. Both
work from the grid and from the open viewer or player.
Copying handles formats the clipboard cannot take directly, such as AVIF, by
converting them first.
v1.0.2
Sort by clip length.
The sort control now offers Longest first and Shortest first alongside the
existing date options, so the long recordings are easy to find among the
one-minute clips.
Screenshots have no length, so that tab keeps its date order rather than
shuffling when a length sort is picked.
v1.0.1
ffmpeg is now bundled with the installer.
Previously the app needed ffmpeg on PATH before clips could be played. It now
ships with its own copy and uses that in preference to any system install, so a
fresh install works with nothing else to set up. Settings shows which ffmpeg is
in use and where it is, and can still be pointed at a different build.
The bundled binary is the LGPL build from BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds. Clips are
stream-copied rather than re-encoded, so nothing beyond LGPL is required.
Also in this release:
- Settings shows the installed version and a Check for Updates button
- Uninstalling asks whether to remove settings and cached clips, and leaves
Steam recordings and screenshots untouched
The installer is larger than 1.0.0 because of the bundled ffmpeg. It is
unsigned, so SmartScreen will warn on first run: choose More info, then Run
anyway.
v1.0.0
First release.
Browse Steam game recordings and screenshots in one place, with a built-in
player. Steam saves clips as DASH fragment streams rather than video files, so
they are stream-copied into a playable MP4 on first play and cached after that.
- All Media view across every game, newest first
- Filters for drive and date, adjustable preview size
- Recordings and screenshots grouped by game, with names and art read from the
local Steam install - Folders follow the Steam config or a custom list, so media split across
drives is scanned together
Requires ffmpeg on PATH, or pointed at in Settings.
The installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen will warn on first run. Choose More
info, then Run anyway.
