Not an upstream or Owlet-endorsed release; not production-ready.

Clean public wheel and source distribution with concise documentation and automated
packaging/regression CI. Runtime behavior is unchanged from rc1. All 40 offline API
regressions pass on Python 3.14.6 against the built wheel. The wheel rebuilt from
the sdist is byte-identical; gzip archive byte reproducibility is not claimed.
The package/import name remains pyowletapi; this does not replace upstream PyPI.

HAOS installation/container replacement and live Owlet hardware remain unverified.
Use an isolated test instance before considering production. No live credentials
or hardware were used for validation. See README, CHANGELOG and SECURITY for
usage, limitations and reporting. rc1 tags/assets remain unchanged.

Assets are immutable: corrections require a new release candidate, never replacement.
Verify downloads against the attached checksums.

This release remains experimental and has not been verified on HAOS or Owlet hardware.
It is an independent community continuation, not an upstream or Owlet-endorsed release.
Original release source commit: 4763498d2fbdaccb6ec52b65eaef68f92c7657f9.
After an explicitly approved history cleanup, the rc1 tag points to 7ea34cb7eead1fa8a69dee0e453e952f3280867f.
Runtime source and tests are unchanged; internal maintainer reports were removed from
fork-specific history. The current maintenance branch also has concise public docs.
Licenses, original authorship and contribution attribution are retained.

The original API wheel is retained unchanged so existing hash-pinned consumers continue
to resolve it. SHA256:
2e89c58206a141dff32e3169e7458e7090430363d1756eafc8afc3a6908cb7f3.
Its metadata contains the original public README, including obsolete documentation links;
it is not a byte-identical build from the rewritten tag. The original sdist was withdrawn
because it included internal reports. API-SHA256SUMS is retained as a historical checksum
record; its sdist entry refers to that withdrawn file. No release asset was replaced.

40 synthetic API regressions and 22 companion HA regressions pass with the maintained
runtime. Inherited application constants remain distinct from personal credentials.
Permission from Owlet to redistribute the Ayla application credential has not been
established. No formal security audit or vulnerability-free status is claimed.
