It is an independent community continuation, not an upstream or Owlet-endorsed release.

After an explicitly approved history cleanup, the rc1 tag points to 7ea34cb7eead1fa8a69dee0e453e952f3280867f.
Runtime source and tests are unchanged; internal maintainer reports were removed from
fork-specific history. The current maintenance branch also has concise public docs.
Licenses, original authorship and contribution attribution are retained.

The original API wheel is retained unchanged so existing hash-pinned consumers continue
to resolve it. SHA256:

Its metadata contains the original public README, including obsolete documentation links;
it is not a byte-identical build from the rewritten tag. The original sdist was withdrawn
because it included internal reports. API-SHA256SUMS is retained as a historical checksum
record; its sdist entry refers to that withdrawn file. No release asset was replaced.

40 synthetic API regressions and 22 companion HA regressions pass with the maintained
runtime. Inherited application constants remain distinct from personal credentials.
Permission from Owlet to redistribute the Ayla application credential has not been
established. No formal security audit or vulnerability-free status is claimed.
