Komorebi 0.7.0 adds rules, contacts and a calendar, plus new security options. It also includes the changes planned for 0.6.0, which was never published.
What is new
- Rules. Settings > Rules: per-account, ordered rules that move, delete to Trash, mark read, mark important or stop, applied to new Inbox mail while Komorebi runs. An activity list shows what happened, and Copy as Sieve puts the rules on the clipboard. No rule sends mail.
- Contacts. A local address book with groups, a Contacts view, and recipient suggestions from contacts first. Optional CardDAV sync per account (off by default, read only or read and write).
- Calendar. Month, week, day and agenda views, event creation and editing, and optional CalDAV sync with conflict handling. Accepting a meeting invitation adds the event. Optional event reminders as Windows notifications while Komorebi runs (off by default).
- Certificate pinning. Pin the exact certificate, the server key, or the issuing CA. SMTP honours the pin too.
- SMTP without sign-in for local relays, per account (TLS stays required).
- Encrypted mail cache (optional, off by default): AES-256-GCM with a key only your Windows user can unlock.
- Smaller download. The installer is about 8.8 MB.
Install and update
Download komorebi-0.7.0-setup.exe and run it, or use Settings > About > Check for updates in 0.5.0. The installer is not code-signed with a certificate yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn; choose More info, then Run anyway.
SHA-256 of the installer: 62aad84058b84aabb78d424ece398207a3c1f9907d3d7b1b190962999c3b3a06
Notes
Caches created by unreleased development builds are not upgraded. If you only used releases, nothing changes in your mail. See CHANGELOG.md for details.
