🚀 New

  • Ability to downloads Export Templates for your godot versions
  • Project Doctor: A Tool that helps you identify what your project is missing and provides a solution if available.
  • Build & Export Setting So you can export your builds without opening the project
  • GodotHub CLI (beta), You can now install Command Line tool from advanced settings and use godothub via your terminal, It's a beta feature so expect bugs and instability.
  • Onboarding can import recent projects from Godot's project manager and detect existing Godot installs on PATH and in Steam libraries, letting you pick what to add
  • Downloaded Godot builds are now verified against the official SHA512 checksums before installing, and a failed check deletes the bad file
  • Storage view: see how much space your installed Godot versions, project templates and export templates take, and reclaim space from unused versions, unfinished downloads and orphaned export templates after reviewing exactly what will be removed
  • Implement RTL Toggle for Arabic Language
  • Project to-dos: Scan code imports TODO and FIXME comments from your .gd, .cs and .gdshader files as to-dos, and completes them once the comment is removed
  • Project to-dos can link to a scene, script or resource (res://), so clicking it opens the file in Godot or your code editor at the right line
  • Project to-dos now have a #todo-N reference: a commit message like "Fixes #todo-3" completes it, and its details show the branches and commits that mention it
  • Dashboard "Due to-dos" tile shows overdue and due-this-week to-dos across all your projects; click one to jump to that project's to-do list
  • Project cards show how many to-dos are open or overdue, and you get a desktop notification when to-dos are due
  • Project to-dos can have a priority and a checklist, and can be reordered by dragging when no sort is active
  • Quick-add a to-do by typing its title and pressing Enter, and search or filter the full to-do list by area

🐛 Fixes

  • Launch arguments are now split like a shell, so quoted paths such as --write-movie "my clip.avi" are passed as a single argument
  • tauri:build no longer fails on a missing patch-appimage-wayland.sh step (Wayland is already handled at runtime)
  • Resuming an interrupted Godot download now restarts cleanly when the server ignores the resume request, instead of appending to the file and corrupting the archive
  • Hardened local data against loss: a corrupt project list now offers to restore from its automatic backup instead of showing an empty library, background and UI updates to your projects and time tracking can no longer overwrite each other, each data file carries a schema version for safe future migrations, and pending settings changes are saved when you close the window
  • First-time setup no longer offers Godot's console build as a separate version
  • Project to-dos are now included in workspace backups, full app backups and Gist sync, and restoring an older backup without to-dos keeps your current ones
  • Project to-dos are saved safely: a damaged to-do file is restored from its automatic backup instead of showing an empty list
  • Duplicating a project now copies its to-dos

✨ Improvements

  • Error Popup on when the version install fails
  • When a project's bound Godot version isn't installed, you can download it in one click from the error instead of hitting a dead end
  • Error pop-ups across the app were replaced with non-blocking toast notifications
  • Ctrl+R now asks for confirmation before reloading, so it no longer discards unsaved input mid-form
  • Godot downloads now retry automatically with exponential backoff on transient network errors
  • Removed the "Updates from Dev" section and the external content service (Sanity.io) behind it
  • Removed an unused web font download for a faster, more private startup
  • Installing an asset from the asset library now streams the download to disk instead of buffering it in memory, and refuses malicious archives (path traversal, symlinks, and zip bombs) during extraction
  • Discarding all changes no longer deletes untracked files by surprise: it now shows exactly which untracked files would be removed and lets you choose to discard tracked changes only, also remove untracked files, or stash everything instead, defaulting to the safe option
  • Settings are reorganized into clearer categories, with new Motion and Data & Backup sections
  • mise integration is no longer experimental and now lives under Settings > Integrations, next to the command-line tool
  • Switching between pages is much faster: pages stay loaded after your first visit and keep their scroll position and filters
  • Switching pages now plays the entrance animation chosen in Settings > Motion
  • First-time setup now links projects imported from Godot's project manager to a matching Godot version automatically, based on the version saved in each project
  • First-time setup now also finds recent projects from Godot 3, shows the real version of each Godot it detects, and shows a searching state while it looks
  • Completed to-dos now remember when they were finished and are listed newest first with their completion date
