Install

Download Scotch.dmg, open it, and drag Scotch into the Applications folder.

First launch: right-click the app → Open → confirm (Scotch is ad-hoc signed, so macOS will warn about an unidentified developer). Scotch will download Wine, DXVK, DXMT, and the Mesa Zink / D3DMetal / winemac overlays on first run (~500 MB).

Requirements

  • macOS 26 Tahoe
  • Apple Silicon (M1 / M2 / M3 / M4 / M5 / Pro / Max / Ultra)
  • Rosetta 2 (Scotch will prompt during setup if missing)
