Setup
Launch the App
The first time you run it, it will ask if it can take pictures and record video. Select “While using the app”
Permissions - select 'While using the app'
Go into the settings (icon top right) and set the following:
Configure the app.
Device name: one of Port Primary, Stbd Primary, Port Tracker, or Stbd Tracker. Other names are possible, but for this to work with the PAMGuard Forms, the name you give the platform must match names within the PAMGuard configuration. See forms help for further details.
IP address: the ip address of the logger computer (you get this bu running the ipconfig command in a Windows command prompt - mine is 192.168.0.100, yours may be different)
Port number 1883
If you’re setting up a tracker platform, then select ‘Show Camera’
For either platform select ‘Capture Audio’
Save the settings, then restart the app (restarting will hopefully not be necessary in future releases).
