SHODAN Stat Editor v2.5.0

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 11 Oct 03:48

Everything since v2.4.0.

Missile flight

  • Weapons that fire missiles (EXO-45 Patriot rockets, FAF-14 Spear, MLS-4X Commando, StA-X3 W.A.S.P., P-92 Warrant, P-33 Missile Pistol) fly at their missile's speeds, not the projectile's, so editing their velocity did nothing. Their velocity, drag and gravity rows are replaced by a Missile flight section: launch, cruise and minimum speed, acceleration and max flight time.
  • Lock-on missiles and the laser-guided Commando also get turn speeds, the angle past which a missile loses its target, and the guidance delay. The Patriot's rockets fly straight, so they don't get these rows.
  • The MS-11 Solo Silo lists the silo itself (health, armor, regeneration), its missile's stats and its missile flight. Not yet tested in a mission.

Grenade swap

  • Grenade launchers, grenade pistols, the One-Two's launcher and the Grenadier Battlement can fire a throwable grenade, Dynamite or a throwable mine (solo missions). Choose it with - / + (0 is the launcher's own round); edit the grenade itself on the Throwables tab (thanks nnikolajev, PR #40).

Backpacks

  • The Hover Pack has new rows: hover time while holding height and while climbing at full speed, hover speed, climb speed, climb acceleration and climb time limit. Rows the Hover Pack never reads are gone.
  • Jump Pack rows renamed to what they do: launch duration, boost after the launch.

Weapons

  • Move while reloading: an On/Off row for the weapons that hold you still while reloading (Autocannon, Spear, GL-28, Recoilless Rifle, Laser Cannon, Maxigun, MG-206, MG-43, Epoch, Airburst, W.A.S.P.).
  • M-1000 Maxigun: wind-up and wind-down times, and "Stops you while firing" On/Off (#42). The A/G-16 Gatling Sentry gets the wind-up rows too.
  • G-123 Thermite: burn time before it explodes (#38).
  • Weapon explosions that make an arc (GL-52 De-Escalator) get an Arc section: range, chain length and split, damage and status effect.
  • Projectile swap loads the source weapon's assets, so swapped projectiles keep their trails.
  • SG-20 Halt: swapping its stun rounds now holds (its ammo type attachments are written too).
  • W.A.S.P. and Warrant: damage shared by both firing modes is listed once, so editing one mode no longer silently changes the other (#35).

Settings

  • Several vehicles of a kind (on by default): a loadout can take more than one exosuit, FRV or tank.
  • Unlock unused items: adds items that are in the game files but the game doesn't offer: the M-104 Incinerator FRV (stratagem list), P-41 Ombudsman, G-11 Caltrops and LAS-22 Shear (armory).
  • Arc chain edits in multiplayer (on by default; not yet tested with other players): Off uses the game's arc chain length and split while other players are in the game, so arcs don't get stuck on screen (#41).

Panel bugfixes/improvements

  • Vehicle guns that never reload (exosuit arms, the Incinerator FRV's flamethrower) no longer show reload rows; giving them spare magazines crashed the game (#31).
  • Panel size, side, opacity and the remembered tab / weapon are read back after a restart again.
  • A Hover Pack recharge time of 0 no longer breaks its hover times, and values are never written as infinity.
  • A value saved for a row that no longer exists no longer marks the item as changed.

SHODAN Stat Editor v2.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 06 Oct 01:59

Everything since v2.3.1.

Per-magazine editing

  • Every magazine and heatsink attachment has its own section on the weapon page (capacity, spare magazines, reload time, heat, ergonomics bonus), edited without touching the others. Fixes the AR-59 Suppressor, where only the Extended Magazine could be changed. Values saved by older versions move to the magazines they applied to.
  • Weapons whose reload time the game stores as 0 (the animation's own length) now show their real seconds; edits step from them, and resetting writes the game's 0 again.
  • Magazine size stops at 2048, the most the game keeps in a magazine (a bigger one drops to 2048 at the first shot).

Second firing mode

  • Weapons with a second firing mode (AC-8 Autocannon, GR-8 Recoilless Rifle, RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher, StA-X3 W.A.S.P. Launcher, the Missile Pistol, the Warrant) get a second Projectile swap row, "Second mode fires", which also shows that projectile's id.
  • A Second mode section with the second projectile's damage, status effects, flight and explosion.

Halt stun rounds

  • The SG-20 Halt's stun rounds get a Stun rounds section (damage, armor penetration, forces, stun, pellets, velocity, drag, gravity) and a swap row of their own, "Stun rounds fire". Other weapons can fire them too, as "SG-20 Halt (stun rounds)".

Tracer rounds

  • The MG-43 Machine Gun, MGX-42 Bullet Storm, A/MG-43 Machine Gun Sentry and A/G-16 Gatling Sentry get a Tracer rounds section with their tracers' flight stats (their damage is the other rounds').
  • Projectile swap on those four now changes every round they fire, tracers included; before, it left them firing their own rounds.

Stun effects

  • Stun applied per hit (or per blast) on everything that stuns: AR-32 Pacifier, SMG-72 Pummeler, SG-20 Halt, Arc Thrower, ARC-12 Blitzer, Stun Lance, Stun Baton, One True Flag, Defoliation Tool, G-23 Stun and G-109 Urchin grenades, Tesla Tower and the Guard Dog K-9.
  • Stun duration for each stun size (small, medium, large, massive). Like burning and gas, a duration is shared by every source of that stun.

Mod compatibility

  • Every stat's game value is read once at startup, so values another mod writes on top (e.g. Helldivers-Ammunition) are no longer taken for the game's own. Presets save only your own edits, and resetting a stat writes the game's value back (#22).
  • Other mods editing the same tables can see what this one writes (state.writes) and read the game's values (state.vanilla).

Panel bugfixes/improvements

  • "Shared with" notes stay full size, list what fits, then "+N"; hovering a cut-short list shows every name in an overlay. Magazine sections drop the "(default)" label.
  • Saves are crash-safe: config and presets are written to a temporary file and swapped into place, so a game crash mid-save no longer loses them. Config lines that can't be read are logged with their file and line (thanks Hung1510, PR #10).
  • The Solo Silo points to the right silo (thanks MunchyG, PR #13).

SHODAN Stat Editor v2.3.1

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 01 Oct 21:18

Everything since v2.2.0.

Projectile swap

  • Every weapon that fires projectiles has a Projectile swap row at the bottom: make it fire another weapon's projectile (step through them by weapon name, or type an id). It switches the projectile everywhere the weapon takes it from: ammo type, fire mode, charge stages, heat levels. The weapon then deals the borrowed projectile's damage and flies like it (your edits to it included); its fire rate, ammo, handling and heat stay its own. A note under the row says what changes and what's kept.

Reloading

  • Reload time for every weapon that reloads: the game speeds up or slows down the reload animation to match it. Weapons whose magazine sets it keep it whatever magazine you fit. Where the game has none (0), the reload plays at the animation's own length until you set one.
  • Rounds per reload for weapons loaded by the round: the AC-8 Autocannon's and P-69 Veto's clips, or how many shells a shotgun loads per step. The Autocannon and Veto also get Reload allowed below: the rounds left under which a reload can start.

Backpack-fed weapons

  • Support weapons that come with a backpack get its values: ammo carried, at the start (belt-fed weapons) and from resupply. This covers the AC-8 Autocannon, GR-8 Recoilless Rifle, FAF-14 Spear, StA-X3 W.A.S.P. Launcher, RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher, M-1000 Maxigun, B/FLAM-80 Cremator, GL-28 Belt-Fed Grenade Launcher and B/MD C4 Pack (its charges, plus the charge's health, throw distance and explosion).

Minefields

  • Anti-Personnel, Anti-Tank, Gas and Incendiary Minefields:
    • The pod: panels and mines per panel, arming time, throw velocity and spread. Mine counts can only be lowered; more than the pod has crashes the game.
    • The mines: trigger delay and chain-reaction delay.
    • The mines' explosion: its full damage set and its radii.

Barrages

  • Every orbital barrage and strike: salvos, shells per salvo, time between shells (its rate of fire), time between salvos and spread area; the Orbital Walking Barrage's walking speed. A barrage's duration follows from them, and one-shot strikes like the Orbital Precision Strike can fire more than once.

Eagles

  • Time between bombs for the bombers (Airstrike, Cluster Bomb, Napalm, Gas, Smoke, 500kg), fire duration for the Strafing Run and 110mm Rocket Pods, and the run length where the Eagle has one.

Wind-up

  • Wind-up time and wind-down time for weapons that charge up before firing (Sickle, Double-Edge Sickle, Scythe, Dagger, Quasar Cannon, ...).

Projectiles

  • Gravity factor for every projectile, strike shell and shrapnel.

Panel bugfixes/improvements

  • The stat list's scroll bar now reaches the last row on long lists (e.g. the Rover).
  • Guard Dogs are found from the game's data instead of a fixed list (thanks MunchyG, PR #8).

SHODAN Stat Editor v2.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 30 Sep 01:36

Everything since v2.1.0.

Charge weapons

  • PLAS-15 Loyalist, PLAS-101 Purifier, PLAS-45 Epoch: the editor now edits the shots these weapons actually fire, one set per charge level: Uncharged / Charged shot for the Loyalist and Purifier, Partial / Full charge shot for the Epoch, each with its own explosion. Before, the Loyalist's damage and explosion values belonged to a projectile the game never fires, so editing them did nothing; the Purifier's uncharged shot and the Epoch's full-charge shot couldn't be edited at all. The Loyalist's and Purifier's shared direct hit is listed once, under the uncharged shot.
  • Charge section on all charge weapons (plasma weapons, Railgun, Accelerator Rifle, Arc Thrower, Meltagun): the charge time of each stage, the overcharge limit (Epoch, Meltagun), and the velocity, damage, penetration and range multipliers between minimum charge and overcharge (plus arc split / chain multipliers on the Arc Thrower).

Heat levels

  • LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle: its damage ramp is editable. There's one section per heat level ("Above 25% heat", "Above 50% heat", "Above 95% heat"), each with the heat it starts at, that level's damage, durable damage, armor penetration and forces, the damage it does to you, and at the top level the burning it sets on you. Its base shot shares its damage with the LAS-16 Sickle; the panel says so.

Backpacks

  • LIFT-850 Jump Pack / LIFT-860 Hover Pack: recharge time, launch force, takeoff duration, forward share of the launch, landing thrust force and duration, mid-air steering, and the Hover Pack's hover duration.
  • LIFT-182 Warp Pack: warp distance, reach up / down, heat per warp, cooling, the safe and unsafe heat levels, the damage an unsafe warp does to your head, arms and legs, and its explosion.
  • B-1 Supply Pack, B-100 Portable Hellbomb, Guard Dogs: backpack charges (capacity, at the start, from resupply).
  • Backpack stratagems are listed under their names (LIFT-182 Warp Pack instead of "Displacement Backpack").
  • A backpack reads its values when it is called in: edit them, then call in a new one.

Weapon list

  • Corrected identifications (thanks to MunchyG, PR #7): LAS-22 Shear, the SMG/FLAM-34 Stoker's underbarrel flamer, the CQC-72 Entrenchment Tool (Support), and the SEAF soldiers' SMG-37 Defender, EAT-17 and MG-43.
  • Vehicle weapons: the EXO-51 Lumberer's flamethrower and the M-102 Gunner FRV's MG-206 are now listed with their vehicle on the Mechas tab instead of under Support.
  • Enemy weapons are no longer listed; the editor covers player and SEAF weapons. Saved values for listed weapons keep applying.

Higher limits

  • Recoil: up to 2000 (was 500). The P/40-K Bolt Pistol's vertical recoil couldn't be raised.
  • Spread: up to 5000 (was 1000). The ARC-12 Blitzer's horizontal spread (1350) was already over the old limit.
  • Projectile velocity: up to 100000 m/s (was 20000).
  • Attachment multipliers (sway, recoil, climb, spread): up to 50 (was 10).

Performance

  • The stratagem, attachment and armor passive lists are built one per frame at startup instead of all in one frame.
  • Redrawing the panel no longer measures every text again or reads the game's font ids each time.

Install: download SHODAN-Stat-Editor-v2.2.0.zip below and install it with your mod manager (replaces the previous version; your settings and presets are kept). Requires Bingus Shared Loader v15 or newer.

SHODAN Stat Editor v2.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 29 Sep 04:26

Everything since v2.0.0.

Vehicle customization

  • Mechas: the exosuits (Patriot, Emancipator, Lumberer, Breacher), the FRVs (Gunner, Supply, Incinerator) and the tanks (Bastion, Maelstrom). Cooldown, health and armor, the health and armor of every body part (legs, cockpit, tracks, doors, ...), and every weapon each one carries as an entry of its own with all the weapon stats. Body parts whose names aren't known show as "Part N".

Shields

  • SH-32 Shield Generator Pack, SH-51 Directional Shield, FX-12 Shield Generator Relay and G/SH-39 Shield: shield capacity, radius, recharge delay (normal and once broken), recharge rate and the charge it comes back with. The backpacks and the Relay are on the Stratagems tab, the G/SH-39 on the Throwables tab.
  • Shield health: the SH-20 Ballistic Shield Backpack's health, armor and durable ratio; the SH-51's backpack and emitter health and armor; the Relay generator's health and armor.

Attachments

  • Ammunition types: 94 of them, alternate loads included, under their names in game, with their recoil and spread multipliers.
  • Custom muzzle brakes: the seven weapons that come with a brake of their own (Liberator Penetrator, Pacifier, Coyote, Adjudicator, Tenderizer, Hyena, Diligence Counter Sniper) now have it as an entry on the Attachments tab ("Muzzle brake (Liberator Penetrator)"). Before, editing these brakes did nothing; a weapon's own sway, recoil and ergonomics edits no longer touch them.

Panel bugfixes/improvements

  • Mouse clicks are blocked too while the panel is open (with "Block game input while open" on): clicking the panel can no longer press a game menu behind it.
  • Reset all values moved from the header to the bottom of the Settings page. It always asks "Sure?" first; the "Ask before Reset all" setting is gone.

Install: download SHODAN-Stat-Editor-v2.1.0.zip below and install it with your mod manager (replaces the previous version; your settings and presets are kept). Requires Bingus Shared Loader v15 or newer.

SHODAN Stat Editor v2.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 29 Sep 01:26

Everything since v1.4.1.

Armor, throwable and attachment customization

  • Armors: all 31 armor passives, every value editable: damage taken from explosions, fire, gas, arc and impacts; extra stims and throwables; stim duration; reload speeds; ammo capacity; throw range; melee damage; limb health; noise and detection range; armor rating and ergonomics bonuses; plus the weapon stat values some passives carry. A passive's values apply to every armor that has it.
  • Throwables: all 23 grenades, knives, throwable mines and the shield: starting count, max carried, from supply, throw distance, fuse time, and the explosion, shrapnel, bomblets or arc they set off.
  • Attachments: optics, underbarrels, muzzles and shotgun chokes: ergonomics, sway, recoil, recoil climb and spread modifiers. They apply to every weapon fitted with them.

Settings page

  • A Settings button at the bottom right: rebind the open / close key in the panel, block the game's input while open, a switch that turns all your changes off (and back on) without losing them, panel size and background opacity (arrows or type a percent), panel side, ask before Reset all, and reopen on the last tab and weapon.
  • Credits, a link to this page and the log file's location (open or copy).

Panel improvements

  • The game gets no input while the panel is open: typing and clicking never move your character, turn the camera or open a game menu.
  • Mouse wheel scrolls the weapon list or the stats, whichever the cursor is over; scroll bars on both sides for long lists.
  • An X at the top right closes the panel; the hint reads "F8 to open/close" (or your own key).
  • Your weapon values win over attachments: a weapon's magazine and heat values stay what you set, whichever attachment is fitted.

Stats

  • Explosive rounds: every weapon with explosive rounds (Bolt Pistol and the rest) gets its explosion's full damage set, not just its radii.

Install: download SHODAN-Stat-Editor-v2.0.0.zip below and install it with your mod manager (replaces the previous version; your settings and presets are kept). Requires Bingus Shared Loader v15 or newer.

SHODAN Stat Editor v1.4.1

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 28 Sep 11:23

Everything since v1.2.0 (the 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 releases are folded into this one).

New in 1.4.1

  • Sentries and emplacements: all ten sentries (MG-43, G-16 Gatling, AC-8 Autocannon, MLS-4X Rocket, M-12 Mortar, M-23 EMS Mortar, GM-17 Gas Mortar, FLAM-40 Flame, LAS-98 Laser, ARC-3 Tesla Tower), the E/MG-101 HMG and E/AT-12 Anti-Tank Emplacements and the E/GL-21 Grenadier Battlement are on the Stratagems tab under their full names. Each lists its cooldown, health, spotting range, target search interval and turret turn speed, then its weapon stat for stat.
  • The sentries' old entries under the game's internal names ("Rocket", "Machinegun", "Mortar Staticfield", ...) are merged into these, and the Laser Sentry moved from the LAS-98 Laser Cannon's list to the Stratagems tab.

From 1.4.0

  • Type in values: click any number (or press Enter on a stat) and type the value. Enter sets it, Esc cancels. A value outside what the stat can take is set to the nearest allowed one, and the panel says so.
  • Melee weapons: strike damage for every melee weapon, including the Breaching Hammer.
  • Breaching Hammer explosion: its own Explosion section with the blast's damage, armor penetration, demolition / stagger / push force and radii.
  • Arc weapons: the Arc Thrower, Blitzer, K-9 Guard Dog and Tesla Tower have arc damage, plus an Arc section (range, chain length, chain split); the Blitzer also has its fire rate.
  • Guard Dogs: the AR-23, Rover, Dog Breath, Hot Dog and K-9 list the drone's health, spotting range and target search interval, and the gun it carries, stat for stat like a weapon (damage, fire rate, magazines, heat, burning / gas, arc). How far a dog flies from you is set in the game code and can't be changed.
  • Fixed: the LAS-5 Scythe's note said the Rover shares its laser; it doesn't.
  • Updated title card and header.

From 1.3.0

  • Blast radius: an Explosion section (inner, outer and shockwave radius) for every weapon with explosive rounds: grenade launchers and pistols, EATs, Recoilless Rifle, Spear, Quasar, Autocannon, Eruptor, plasma weapons and more.
  • Flame weapons: the Flamethrower, Torcher, Crisper, Cremator and Sterilizer have damage stats.
  • Fire and gas from any weapon: the Coyote, Hyena, incendiary shotguns, lasers, EAT-700 and gas weapons show how much burning (or gas) each hit applies. The Burning / Gas section (damage, armor penetration, duration) is shared by every source of that effect in the game.
  • Search: a box under the weapon list (or Ctrl+F) finds weapons and stratagems across all tabs.
  • Shorter description in the mod manager.

Install: download SHODAN-Stat-Editor-v1.4.1.zip below and install it with your mod manager (replaces the previous version; your settings and presets are kept). Requires Bingus Shared Loader v15 or newer.

SHODAN Stat Editor v1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@SHODAN-HORAI SHODAN-HORAI released this 28 Sep 09:06

New: presets

  • Weapon presets: 5 per weapon or stratagem. Use the PRESETS strip under its stats (Save / Load / Clear), or Ctrl+1–5 to load and Ctrl+Shift+1–5 to save.
  • Full presets: up to 50 named presets on the new Presets tab, each holding every change you've made. Make one from your current changes, type its name in game, then load, overwrite, rename or delete it. Overwriting and deleting ask twice. Each is saved as StatEditor\preset_NN.txt, which you can copy to share a whole setup.

Also since v1.0.0

  • Heat weapons (lasers, Quasar Cannon): overheat threshold, heat per shot / per second, cool-down time in seconds (the Quasar's recharge included), and heatsink counts.
  • P-2 Peacemaker and P-19 Redeemer now have damage, armor penetration, force and projectile stats.
  • Values set back to the game's own no longer stay marked as changed.
  • Smaller download (compressed thumbnail).

Install: download SHODAN-Stat-Editor-v1.2.0.zip below and install it with your mod manager (replaces the previous version; your config.txt is kept). Requires Bingus Shared Loader v15 or newer.
