Examples

Every skill has one example file:

examples/by-skill/<domain>/<skill-name>.md

The file has four parts. Nothing else.

2. Scenario
3. Example data
4. Example outcome

Example data is the file a person would hand over. The outcome is the document they would send. It is not a sentence that describes the document.

A complete example

Skill: cash-flow-forecast

What this is for. Build a 13-week cash forecast from collections and commitments, not from booked revenue.

Scenario. Mara Chen runs Northline Studio in Calgary. On 14 September 2026 she asks whether two producers can start next month without missing payroll. She will not finish a week under 40,000 CAD. Harbor & Co owes 90,000 and usually pays 20 days late. That money is not in the bank.

Example data

Example outcome

Decision: do not send the offers. Week 3 closes at 19,600, under the buffer, before Harbor pays.

The 90,000 is a collection, not revenue. The hires are not in the table.

What to reject

Reject an example that only says "a note that records the shortage." Show the 32 boxes and the 8 missing. Reject invented metrics, copied scripts, and figures the scenario did not supply.
