CC Switch CLI v5.11.0
This release adds Codex reset-credit commands and improves database, authentication, proxy, and OpenCode compatibility.
Added
- Codex / Reset Credits: Inspect and redeem rate-limit reset credits from auth and provider quota commands. Confirmation commands pin the selected managed account and credit; inspection failures are distinguished from empty results, and a failed refresh after redemption does not invite a second redemption. Includes #475 and #477.
Changed
- Database / Compatibility: Align schema and migrations with CC-Switch schema v20, including shared MCP/Skills fields. Databases at v18 and v19 migrate forward; v20 databases work with local startup and SQL/WebDAV import. Includes #484, addressing #472.
- Codex / Configuration and Authentication: Align provider switching, native-login preservation, configuration projection, and interrupted-write recovery with the shared implementation. Third-party keys are written to the provider's TOML bearer token, and switching back to OpenAI Official restores the native login without retaining the third-party key. Includes #486, addressing #480 and #473.
- OpenCode / V2 Storage: Support OpenCode 2.x session and message tables for session browsing, transcripts, deletion, and usage collection, while retaining V1 support and handling mixed databases. Includes #485, fixing #483.
Fixed
- Codex / Compressed Requests: Decode compressed Codex requests before proxy processing. Includes #487, fixing #469.
- Codex / Tool Declarations: Collect supported
additional_toolsdeclarations from input carriers for Chat Completions conversion. Includes #488, fixing #466. - Codex / Reasoning and Tools: Preserve reasoning across mixed tool-call turns and combine commentary with tool output where required by the conversion path. Includes #491, fixing #458.
- Codex / OAuth Identity: Use consistent Codex client identity headers for OAuth requests and model discovery, matching client version 0.159.0. Includes #465.
- Proxy / Empty Legacy Tool Calls: Ignore legacy
function_callpayloads in Chat-to-Anthropic streaming, preventing empty placeholders from creating invalid tool blocks. Includes #438, addressing #437. See the compatibility note below. - Hermes / Custom Home: Honor custom Hermes home directories. Includes #489, fixing #464.
- Configuration / Symlinked Home: Support symlinked home-directory ancestors, including Synology layouts, while retaining protections for managed paths. Includes #490, fixing #457.
- TUI / Build Reliability: Prevent visibility sentinel functions from being folded together. Includes #462.
- Tests / Portability: Handle the single-parser-worker completion-order case and skip the non-UTF8 filename case on macOS. Includes #470 and #463.
Upgrade notes
- Database schema advances from v18 to v20. Back up your configuration before upgrading; older clients that only support v18 cannot open a migrated database. Schema versions newer than v20 remain rejected.
- Normal Codex provider switching preserves live settings and MCP configuration rather than replaying saved common snippets or resynchronizing MCP. Explicit common-config editing remains available.
- Streamed tool invocations must use modern
tool_calls. Legacy-onlyfunction_callpayloads are now ignored, including nonempty payloads; the existing finish-reason mapping is retained. See the compatibility details. - For Homebrew installations, use
brew upgrade cc-switch-cli.
