Version 1.7 shrinks data updates and smooths out scrolling, search, and editing.
- Much smaller, faster data updates: when the card catalogue changes, Grimora now downloads only what's actually different instead of the whole database — a fraction of the size, far quicker, and still applied safely in the background
- Update on your terms: a new Automatic Data Updates setting lets you switch off automatic catalogue downloads and refresh manually from the Library menu whenever you like
- Smoother scrolling: card art is now prepared off the main thread before it's shown, so scrolling through large grids stays fluid instead of hitching
- Faster in-list search: searching within a collection runs off the main thread, so typing no longer freezes the list
- Snappier editing: changing a card's category, quantity, or zone no longer recomputes every collection — large libraries stop stalling on each edit
- Tidier multi-category view: empty categories stay hidden until they're needed, and a card tagged into several categories appears as a dimmed ghost in the ones it isn't filed under
- Maybeboard for Commander decks: adding an extra card to a full Commander deck now offers to place it on the Maybeboard
- Card-back placeholder: cards without loaded art now show the classic card back instead of a blank tile
