Pre-Alpha Test Build 0.04 - Windows x64
This release ships both applications in one self-contained archive:
- ThreeBrowser/ThreeBrowser.exe — WebView2 browser host with native Three.js, WebGL, and WebGPU rendering paths.
- ThreeBrowserRuntime/ThreeBrowserRuntime.exe — native project importer and WebView-free execution runtime.
Highlights:
- Adds GTA Neon City, a substantial playable native JavaScript sample with authored story chapters, moral choices, peaceful work and city-life activities, driving, police response, first-person aiming, and third-person exploration.
- Adds a full day/night and weather cycle, practical city lighting, PBR street and facade textures, occupied virtual office interiors, populated traffic, pedestrians, ragdolls, and pooled effects.
- Preloads gameplay textures, render pipelines, effects, actors, and simulation branches before READY to avoid first-use frame stalls.
- Expands native camera, input, audio, single-surface presentation, screenshot, and development control-pipe coverage.
- Includes 185 deterministic GTA sample tests plus native performance, camera, story, transit, lighting, and realism QA harnesses.
- Bundles Node.js, native WebGPU/runtime DLLs, shader tooling, Streamline/DLSS payloads, samples, and JavaScript modules.
The Browser and Runtime launcher UI require the Microsoft WebView2 Evergreen Runtime. It is included with Windows 11.
