Multiple players can join a room. The server then chooses a random player to be the chameleon and a random cell corresponding to the word for the round and displays that to the non-chameleon players. This does not replace the board game as you will still need to be in-person to discuss and have the word cards. It is however useful if you are playing with people who have immediately memorized which words correspond to which dice rolls since it replaces that part of the game.
