Besides MetaHuman Creator, you can create MetaHumans from your own 3D face meshes using the Mesh-to-MetaHuman (M2MH) plugin. Unlike MetaHuman Creator, this has to be installed locally on your computer as a plugin for Unreal Engine. You can do so via the Epic Games Launcher. Important: currently (June 2023), M2MH is only available for Windows.
To get started with M2MH, check out this video which walks you through the entire process. Note that you also need to install the Quixel Bridge plugin for Unreal Engine to "push" your newly created MetaHuman to your "collection" associated with your account.
Note that M2MH creates a MetaHuman which shape is consistent with your 3D mesh; it does not take into account your mesh' texture. You need to set this yourself in the MetaHuman Creator app. Also, note that M2MH only takes into account the shape of your mesh' head; the body is ignored.
If you don't have a 3D mesh, you can actually create a relatively accurate one for a few bucks; to learn more, check out this page.
