DeepLocal 2.0 brings the DeepL workflow to Windows, fully offline: a new DeepL-style interface, TranslateGemma 12B as the default model, and every model you have in Ollama one click away.

Both upgrade an existing 1.0 installation in place. No .NET install needed. Verify the files with SHA256SUMS.txt.
Requirements: Windows 10 (1809) or 11, 64-bit, and Ollama running. TranslateGemma 12B (about 8 GB) can be downloaded from the model menu inside the app.
SmartScreen may warn about an unsigned app: click More info, then Run anyway.

Bug fixes
- Alt+T now always brings the window back from the tray
- Tray menu stays in sync after closing with X
- No more 100 second timeout with large models
- Japanese is no longer detected as Chinese
- Parallel translations can no longer overwrite each other
- The window fits small and scaled screens
