Apple Silicon
Wrapper Version
Template-1.0.7
Engine
WS12WineSikarugir10.0_3
Application/Game Name
Resident evil 2 remake (dx12 rt version)
Render Used
D3DMetal (Apple silicon & 64-bit only)
Description of problem
When trying to launch Resident evil 2 remake (dx12 version) with "D3DMetal" option checked it crashes right away with D3DError. This only happens when using template 1.0.7. Same game with template 1.0.5 and D3DMetal option works fine, and it shows GPTK 3 in HUD. Trying to launch dx11 version of this game does work, but in template 1.0.7 hud doesn't show it uses GPTK in the HUD while 1.0.5 shows and gives better perfomance
Steps to reproduce
- Have some wrapper with 1.0.5 template and a game that runs on dx12 using GPTK
- Crearte new wrapper with 1.0.7 template and same game, check the option D3DMetal
- Check is GPTK actually utilized through HUD
...
Expected behavior
Game runs same as with template 1.0.5
