@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 26 Oct 15:38

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.3

  • Interrupted installation downloads: automatically reconnects after a network or proxy interruption. Compatible downloads reuse already received data when integrity checks allow it; otherwise the file restarts. Retries are bounded and cancellable. Closing the Hub does not preserve partial downloads. Thanks to @wer2357666 for the slow-download and proxy-switching report (#4). The separate in-game crash report remains unresolved.
  • Runtime cache storage: on compatible NTFS volumes, downloaded NVIDIA, Intel and Streamline DLLs use transparent Windows compression. Existing cached DLLs are compressed in the background without removing cached versions; Storage usage reports their compressed size. Unsupported volumes and files that cannot be compressed keep their ordinary form. Thanks to @SiTWulf for the storage feedback (#5).
  • Opening saved game data: accepts valid UTF-8 JSON with or without a byte-order marker, and UTF-16 JSON with a supported byte-order marker, without rewriting the original files. Invalid or empty data stay protected and receive more useful diagnostics. Thanks to @amernet91 for the report and logs (#6); its exact cause is not yet confirmed.
  • Large game installations: fixes native Intel runtime discovery stopping on very large or deeply nested game folders while retaining exclusions for linked directories.

Local automated tests cover interrupted and resumed downloads, corrupted data rejection, compression, encoded game state, backup restoration and directory scanning. Real VPN changes and the reporters' final cases have not been confirmed with these release binaries. This release changes the Hub; install the RTX Encore mod separately.

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.2

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 26 Oct 09:41

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.2

  • Where Winds Meet: detects the actual game executable inside the game's Engine folders and proposes installing the mod beside it.
  • Installation destinations: a first installation requires a detected executable. When detection is uncertain, the Hub asks you to confirm the executable before preparing the installation.
  • Correct an existing library entry: explicitly selecting an executable through Add game updates the existing entry without duplicating it and invalidates outdated installation plans.

An installation already placed in the wrong folder is not automatically moved by updating the Hub. Remove the misplaced installation and install again, or use the existing proxy-change plan to choose the correct destination; review the proposed paths before applying it. Install RTX Encore 1.4.4 for the matching NR compatibility fix in Where Winds Meet.

Local automated tests cover discovery, installation plans and confirmation using synthetic game folders. The final 1.4.2 binaries have no separate real-game qualification. Existing backup and restoration protections remain available.

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.1

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 25 Oct 19:35

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.1

  • Intel runtime installation and repair: updates existing compatible Intel components at their native game locations, including plugin folders, while retaining transactional backups and restoration. Missing components use the managed runtime folder; obsolete managed duplicates are removed when a native destination exists.
  • Zenless Zone Zero: selects the compatible default proxy for this game and recognizes its installation correctly. Explicit manual proxy choices remain respected. Install RTX Encore 1.4.3 for the matching XeFG, menu and Neural Rendering fixes. Keep the game's original Streamline files. Thanks to @WBW333 for the report (mod #83).

The maintainer confirmed repair, XeFG, the integrated menu and NR in ZZZ with test builds. Local automated tests cover installation, backup restoration and proxy selection. The final 1.4.1 binaries have no separate in-game qualification; Intel XeSS / XeFG remain experimental.

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.0

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 24 Oct 17:08

RTX Encore Hub 1.4.0

  • Settings for RTX Encore 1.4.0: choose experimental Pre-SR or default Post-SR placement, use Pre-SR recipes and set an independent model profile for each NR pass. These controls require mod 1.4.0; saving a choice does not establish that the game uses it.
  • NR comparison reports: open the Image and performance lab in game to collect measurements and captures, export them, then import the JSON report into the Hub. The Hub shows NR/SR timing and separate memory counters; unavailable measurements remain unavailable.
  • Qualified comparisons: relative results require matching observed game conditions and a qualified SR/FG viewport association. Older or unqualified reports remain readable but are not declared comparable. Current native routes without that association provide individual observations, not relative gains. Sequential captures do not establish temporal stability, and global memory changes do not prove savings caused by Pre-SR.

Install RTX Encore 1.4.0 separately for the native menu languages, About tab, DLSS-G control fixes and NR lab. Post-SR remains the default. Pre-SR, its new multipass paths and comparison instrumentation have no GPU or in-game qualification in this release. Existing runtime-update, backup and restoration safeguards remain in place. Intel XeSS / XeFG remain experimental.

Validation uses local builds, automated tests and fake game folders; no real-game validation of the final Hub binaries is claimed.

RTX Encore Hub 1.3.1

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 24 Oct 08:58

RTX Encore Hub 1.3.1

  • Safer Streamline updates for older games. The Hub keeps compatible Streamline components together instead of offering an incompatible mixture of old and new files. This addresses the WRC Generations report from @dm1z0r (RTX Encore #75).
  • NVIDIA runtime choices respect the game's integration. For older or unrecognized Streamline integrations, the Hub preserves existing NVIDIA files and withholds updates whose compatibility has not been established. This also applies to global and optional choices. The game page explains why an update is unavailable.

Use RTX Encore 1.3.1 for the mod's WRC Generations compatibility fixes. This Hub release does not certify every recent NVIDIA runtime for that game, and it does not automatically repair files replaced outside the Hub. Existing backup and restoration safeguards remain in place.

Validation uses automated tests and fake game folders; no real-game validation of the final Hub binaries is claimed. Intel XeSS / XeFG remain experimental.

RTX Encore Hub 1.3.0

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 23 Oct 13:44

RTX Encore Hub 1.3.0

  • Foveated NR settings for RTX Encore 1.3.0. A game's settings now offer the mod's experimental foveated Neural Rendering, off by default: turn on Foveated NR, then pick a preset (light, balanced, strong) or custom with its four values (width and height of the full-strength centre, transition length, detail kept at the edges). The NR effect is softer near the edges. The mod measured +27% average FPS with Strong in Cyberpunk 2077 on an RTX 3070 Ti Laptop. These settings can travel in community profiles.
  • Smooth Motion V1 or V2 on RTX 20. With a detected RTX 20 card and RTX Encore 1.3.0, choose V1 (test 1, default) or V2 (test 2), then restart the game. The choice is hidden on other cards and never turns Smooth Motion on by itself. Driver 621.01 and DirectX 12 are still required.
  • OpenNR and the Cyber Engine Tweaks panel are gone. RTX Encore 1.3.0 removed them, so the Hub no longer shows their settings; NVIDIA Neural Rendering stays. Settings left by the old panel remain readable until the mod imports them, and new settings are written beside the mod.
  • Storage usage in Settings. See the space taken by the application, shared and local backups, downloaded runtimes, RTX Encore archives, game covers, logs and other Hub data, plus the older backups still kept in game folders. A partial scan says so, and its total is then a minimum.
  • Backup maintenance no longer repeats the same warning. When a game folder holds a backup folder the Hub did not create, or the same game was recorded earlier under another identity, the Hub now finishes moving its own data and leaves that folder untouched. Remaining warnings name the game, and unprocessed files are kept.

Foveated NR and the RTX 20 V1/V2 choice require RTX Encore 1.3.0 or newer; older mods keep their current settings. Keep the complete Hub data folder: migrated states still require Hub 1.2.4 or newer for restoration. The Hub checks files and settings; it does not certify image quality or in-game performance. Tests use fake games; no real-game validation is claimed.

RTX Encore Hub 1.2.4

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 23 Oct 05:56

RTX Encore Hub 1.2.4

  • One copy of identical bytes. Originals and history snapshots share compressed, verified backups across games. Different DLL contents remain distinct even when their version labels match. Unreferenced shared copies are collected safely.
  • Automatic migration from 1.0.x, 1.1.x and 1.2.x. The first startup imports old originals and operation history, preserves settings and rollback, and removes only identified, unchanged old copies after the new references are committed. Migration resumes after interruption; locked or unavailable sources remain retryable. Unknown and altered files are retained.
  • Visible progress and deferred cleanup. Stop between games and resume next startup. A separate administrator retry is available for protected game folders; startup never asks for elevation automatically.
  • RTX 20 Smooth Motion readiness. With a compatible RTX Encore mod 1.3.0 or newer, driver 621.01 and an identified DirectX 12 game, the Hub can offer automatic RTX 20 GPU selection for Smooth Motion. Older mods and unconfirmed graphics APIs remain gated. This is not real-game validation.

Keep the complete Hub data folder. Migrated states require Hub 1.2.4 or newer for restoration. The runtime download store and eight-operation history limit are unchanged. Tests use fake games and pinned historical source engines; no real-game or performance validation is claimed.

RTX Encore Hub 1.2.3

Français · 简体中文

  • Reinstall cleanly, keep your settings. A new action on a Hub-managed game's page previews the reinstall, recreates the mod and its managed runtimes, and preserves your settings exactly, including comments. Health keeps a way back to the previous installation. Missing exact runtime sources or unknown files refuse the operation before game files are written. Thanks to @wer2357666 for the suggestion and reports (#4). This is a repair option, not a confirmed fix for the reported GTA V Enhanced crashes.
  • Sharpening controls and shared preferences. Choose Off, Game or Custom sharpening for compatible RTX Encore versions, with a strength from 0 to 100% and Custom starting at 30%. The preference can be included in shared profiles. These controls now ship in the Hub; RTX Encore 1.2.2 provides the corresponding mod feature. High strengths can amplify noise and halos.

The Hub and RTX Encore mod have separate versions. This release does not change the mod. Automated checks used fake game folders; they do not establish in-game compatibility, visual quality or performance. Intel XeSS and XeFG remain experimental.

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 22 Oct 13:52

RTX Encore Hub 1.2.2

  • Hub logs you can export even when game pages fail. Use Settings → Hub diagnostics → Export Hub logs, or the export button on a failed game page. The archive includes recent Hub activity and errors; review it before attaching it to an issue. Thanks to @amernet91 for the report that prompted this improvement (#6). This adds diagnostics; the reported game-list failure is still under investigation.
  • Smaller original-file backups. Game originals are now kept in verified ZIP archives. Existing uncompressed backups remain restorable and are converted on the next successful installation or update. Keep this Hub version or a newer one to restore compressed backups. Runtime storage and operation history are unchanged. Thanks to @SiTWulf for the storage suggestion (#5).
  • Remembered selections and accessible actions. The game page remembers the last preset, multiplier and option selections on this device. Back and Apply stay available while scrolling through the game page and all settings. Selections are applied only after confirmation. Thanks to @wer2357666 for these suggestions (#4); this does not claim to fix the game crashes reported in that issue.

The Hub and RTX Encore mod have separate version numbers. This release does not change the mod. Intel XeSS and XeFG remain experimental.

RTX Encore Hub 1.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@SilyNoMeta SilyNoMeta released this 22 Oct 12:38

RTX Encore Hub 1.2.1

  • Faster library startup — Cached games appear immediately while verification runs in the background.
  • RTX Encore 1.2.1 — Menu compatibility improvements, live DLSS/XeSS switching in No Man’s Sky, and broader NVIDIA runtime compatibility.
  • Appropriate controls — The obsolete NVIDIA provider-policy option is hidden for mod 1.2.1; older mods retain their controls.

Intel, common-input and per-pass NR settings require mod 1.2.0-beta.1 or later. Mod 1.2.1 no longer uses the NVIDIA provider-policy setting, so the Hub hides it; older mods retain their supported controls. XeFG remains experimental and depends on the mod, graphics API, game and runtime. A requested multiplier does not prove displayed frames.
