TrackPro 2.26.72 — Coach overhaul (test build)
This build is a major AI Coach update. We'd love focused feedback on the four
areas below.
The coach no longer gets cut off
- Spotter chatter (pit reminders, engine warnings, race-control notes) now
waits for the coach to finish instead of chopping it off mid-word. Real
safety calls — traffic, black flag, box-now — still break in instantly. - Longer coaching answers no longer die mid-sentence.
The coach knows where you are
- iRacing: corner recognition is now driven by iRacing's own official
track maps — 418 layouts with exact, per-turn positions (including
traditional corner names like "West Bend"). Tracks that previously said
"corner position unavailable" now call corners with confidence. - Assetto Corsa: major position upgrade. Spa, Imola, Zandvoort, Bathurst,
Monza, Brands Hatch, Silverstone and more now get validated corner calling.
Where we can't verify a corner map (some layouts, mod tracks), the coach
says so honestly instead of guessing. - Telling the coach "that's not where I am" no longer mutes corner calls for
the whole session — it re-proves the map over the next two laps and comes
back.
Cues that land before the corner, not in it
- Coaching is now two-stage: the teaching happens on the straight ("Turn 3 —
brake fifteen later, roll more speed"), and the approach gets a short
anchor ("Turn 3 — brake later") that plays instantly from a cached clip in
the coach's own voice. - Cues are short and actionable by design: location + action + amount.
The coach talks about more than brake points
- Steering, throttle, trail-braking, and corner-speed coaching now rotate
into the radio instead of "brake later" every lap. - Live technique catches (snapped brake release, throttle stabs, missed
trail-braking) can now be spoken between focus corners.
Feedback we're looking for
- Does the coach ever get cut off mid-sentence? (It shouldn't.)
- Does it ever name the WRONG corner? Tell us the track/sim — this is our
top priority to hear about. - Do pre-corner cues land early enough to act on?
- Does the short cue voice sound like the same coach as the conversation?
