What's new

  • Added optional current-track album art using Last.fm, MusicBrainz and Cover Art Archive for WEB, SD, DLNA and Bluetooth playback.
  • Reworked the DLNA WebUI browser to use asynchronous worker requests, the configured root object ID and paged folder listings.
  • Fixed DLNA fallback icons and reliable switching from DLNA back to the WEB playlist.
  • Serialized low-priority DLNA and cover-art network work to protect audio playback memory and watchdog responsiveness.
  • Prevented connected Bluetooth sources from overwriting metadata outside Bluetooth mode.

Upgrade notes

Upload both the v1.0.5 firmware and the matching LittleFS data. The updated dlna.html must stay in sync with the new firmware endpoints.

Album art is optional. Enable USE_LASTFM_COVER and add LASTFM_API_KEY in myoptions.h to use it.

FusionEdge is now feature-complete. Future releases will focus on confirmed bug fixes and compatibility maintenance.
