Entitled Goose v0.2.0 — the goose is now aware
The goose knows the time, your machine's state, and when you leave. It has opinions.
New: environmental awareness
- Knows the clock — sleeps through the night, judges you at 2am ("even geese sleep. this is unwell."), greets you by time of day
- Battery watch — "your battery is at 12%. charge it. I live here." Escalates to a full honk at 5%.
- Notices your absence — leave and come back: "you were gone 23 minutes. I counted."
- Wake/unlock greetings, unplug commentary, dark-mode remarks, and sympathy (of a sort) when your CPU is wheezing
- Unsolicited status reports — time, battery, machine health, and its own emotional state (unappreciated)
Also since v0.1.0
- Space-switch chase: swap desktops and the goose sprints in after you — it never disappears, including over fullscreen apps
- Drag-to-play: pick the goose up (hold + move); it dangles, sways, and does not thank you
- Kink-free neck at extreme reach angles
- Enforcement choreography: walks to the window's close button and pecks it as the tab closes
- Direct-download links with stable artifact names
Install (macOS)
Download the DMG (Apple Silicon or Intel), drag to Applications, right-click → Open (signed, not yet notarized). Everything lives in the 🪿 menu-bar icon.

Late additions in this build
- 120fps rendering (max, adjustable 30/60/120 in the control panel)
- Static full-screen overlay renderer — window-move jitter is gone for good (and CPU dropped to ~1.6%)
- Awareness toggles in the control panel: battery / time & absences / status reports / calendar
- Calendar reminders (optional): "'standup' in 10 minutes. go be a person."
- The enforcement peck now aims at the active tab's actual close button
- Space-switch sprint always chases toward your cursor
