Scoping stuff
This release sees the implementation of proper scopes. This works like almost any other language, so nothing worth explaining specifically. Next to that the Break syntax has been added (To break out of for- and while-loops) and block comments (#* comment *#) are now a thing.
That's it!
Interactive Code Update
This update sees the introduction of working function parameters! Take a look in the documentation to see how to use them.
And to support function parameters and better variable declaration typing has been added as well. This too can be checked out in the documentation.
Additionally, the Use syntax has been added along with the option to generate a c header file for your Tic script using the compiler. The Use function, much like Python's import allows you to import all functions from another Tic script, opening up the possebility of multi-script programs.
And finally, the StartWIth keyword has been introduced. This syntax makes it possible to pass command-line arguments to the execution of your Tic executable! It's use is (of course) documented in the documentation.
If you come across a bug or want to comment on anything Tic-related please open up an issue here or notify me in any other way!
Happy coding!
The Big Rename
This is the first release since the renaming from AttemptLang to Tic. The compiler/language has been updated to support 'And' and 'Or' in if-statements, as well as the addition of functions. These functions as of right now don't support working parameters, but that's being worked on. See the documentation for the syntaxes.
The IDE has only been renamed.
