Recall for macOS 1.1.2

Recall has an app icon.

New

• App icon. Recall now has its own icon in Finder, Launchpad, System Settings and the app switcher, replacing the generic placeholder.
• The Software Update and Welcome windows show the icon too. The menu bar icon is unchanged, so it still shows whether Recall is recording.

Install

• From 1.0.2 or later: use Check for Updates… in the app menu, then Install and Relaunch.
• From an earlier version: download RecallForMac-1.1.2.zip, unzip it, and replace RecallForMac.app in /Applications. Your history and settings carry over.

Not notarized. Manual downloads are signed with a Developer ID but not notarized, so macOS may block the first launch. Right-click the app → Open, or allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Finder caches icons, so the old one may linger briefly after updating.

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
