Elden Ring's weather now carries over into Minecraft. Rain, heavy rain, snow and heavy fog rain make it rain in Minecraft; storms bring thunder; everything else is clear.
Minecraft's own rain isn't drawn (Elden Ring already draws the weather), but it still matters for gameplay: block lighting, mobs, fire and farmland all react to it.
Thunderstorms are real Minecraft thunderstorms: lightning can strike, start fires and hurt you.
Can be turned off with "weather": false in the host control config.
Merchants
Merchants now offer a single Shop option that opens the Minecraft shop. The old Purchase/Sell pair is gone, so the native sell menu can no longer open underneath Minecraft.
Fixed: choosing Shop no longer sticks on "Waiting..." until you pick Leave. The shop opens straight away, and closing it returns you to the merchant.
Fixed: a paid purchase could get stuck and never finish, which made the shop flicker. Stuck purchases now finish on the next launch, without charging you twice.
If the shop can't load, you're returned to the merchant after a few seconds.
Known issues
Closing the map some other way (for example a controller button) leaves Minecraft hidden until you move or press M, G or Escape.
Weathers added in the DLC are not recognised yet and stay clear in Minecraft.
