EldenCraft 0.25.3
Small patch that fixes Fire Giant hitboxes.
EldenCraft 0.25.2
Minor update.
- Fixed Torrent getting stuck and slowing down
- Fixed TNT propagation
- Added spears, mace and potions + splash potions
EldenCraft 0.25.1
Hotfix patch
- Some minor rebalancing efforts (pushed gear tier a bit up)
- Fixed the confirmed inventory-loss chain after native death; protection now survives bridge interruptions and manual/renamed worlds.
- Blocked Minecraft void damage from reaching Elden Ring.
- Fixed a mining crash and queued attacks bypassing boss phase protections.
This also fixes issues with Rennala.
EldenCraft 0.25.0
Major update.
- TNT/creeper damage heavily reduced.
- Wooden weapons and shields are now indestructible to avoid soft-locking.
- Creative flight works with double-tap Space.
- Hearts display starts at 10 full hearts, growing to 30, with combat and healing unchanged.
- Added a multipage save-load guide covering progression, merchants, mechanics, alpha bugs, and F6 recovery.
- Fog/door interactions lock movement while native animations finish; ladder controls remain available.
- Placed blocks, water, lava and animated blocks are now drawn directly in Elden Ring’s frame, so they stay locked to the world instead of trailing the captured Minecraft image
- These blocks cover the whole render distance (up to 32 chunks) and stay visible while chunks load or you edit nearby - only fast travel switches back to the captured image
- Water and lava use Minecraft’s own fluid shapes, and fire, magma, portals and other animated textures animate every game tick
- Block textures include all their mipmap levels, so distant blocks are filtered like vanilla
- Directly drawn blocks now work above 1080p, up to 4K with GPU sharing
- Blocks are drawn with the camera of the frame actually on screen, with new ReShade options "Block camera latency" and "Match blocks to the presented frame"
- The block placement outline now shows the exact cube the held block will fill, instead of the terrain’s sloped boxes
- Placed blocks get seamless merged collision around you and ahead of your movement, and a block that changes shape never leaves you without a floor
- You can step up onto placed slabs and stair steps like in vanilla (a full block while riding Torrent)
- During Minecraft movement your Elden Ring hitbox matches Minecraft’s 0.6 by 1.8 block size, so open doors and two-block doorways fit
- Terrain sampling adjusts its workload to what the game can afford and samples the ground at 25 cm steps near your feet
- Swim in water and lava with Minecraft’s own buoyancy, drowning and burning
- Climb Minecraft ladders with vanilla controls, and climb Elden Ring ladders with R and then W/S
- Entering water or a ladder mid-fall cancels Elden Ring fall damage, without extra immunity afterwards
- Elden Ring enemies move at half speed in water and quarter speed in lava, and take drowning, lava and fire damage
- A quick Space tap between game ticks now opens the elytra, while the press that starts a jump never does
- Elytra glides start smoothly from your current speed, end cleanly on landing and carry some momentum into the run
- A totem of undying held in either hand cheats death from Elden Ring hits, including Elden Ring’s own hazards like falls
- Absorption hearts now soak up Elden Ring hits
- Regeneration from totems and enchanted golden apples now heals your Elden Ring health
- Your damage against Elden Ring enemies is up 20%
- All merchant prices are halved
- Golden apples are sold from the start for 500 runes with unlimited stock
- Enchanted golden apples (3,000 runes), totems of undying (5,000) and TNT (800) were added to the shop
- Golden apples drop five times as often (about 1 in 65 kills), and enchanted golden apples can now drop (about 1 in 260)
- The starter kit includes 3 golden apples
- Every minor boss also rewards a golden apple, and Margit, Golden Godfrey, the Godskin Duo, Gideon and every remembrance boss reward an enchanted golden apple
- Fixed a crash in Minecraft’s chunk saving when lighting finished on a chunk during an autosave
- New Troubleshoot.cmd (or EldenCraft.cmd diagnose) builds a redacted support ZIP with a summary of findings, recent logs and GPU and game version checks
- Upgrade note: setup keeps your existing campaign.json, so replace it with the bundled config/campaign.json to get the new balance (back up any edits first)
EldenCraft 0.24.1
A small hotfix update:
- Startup damage protection, natural-spawn suppression, and removal of existing staging slimes.
- Steam initialization workaround and PowerShell exit-code fix.
- Clearer ReShade, missing-script, campaign, path, and version errors.
- Earlier launcher logs and periodic bridge diagnostics.
0.24.0-alpha
- Armor rework: Each armor value now represents a damage reduction percentage. Equipped pieces stack additively, capped at 100%. Toughness no longer adds mitigation.
- Armor displays: Item tooltips and shop stats now show percentage reduction.
- Double footsteps: Added suppression of Elden Ring footsteps while the paired Minecraft presentation is active.
- Site of Grace Ender Chest: Corrected identity validation causing “This interaction is no longer available.”
- Torrent camera: Smoothed grounded vertical camera movement to reduce shaking from approximated terrain.
- Boss hitboxes: Corrected filters excluding registered bosses such as Margit, prioritized bosses in target publication, and added fallback collision dimensions.
- Diagnostics: Added more detailed target rejection information for troubleshooting.
IMPORTANT - READ THIS
- When entering a boss fog you should immediately go through the fog and stay close to it until the boss bar appears. Going too fast into the arena might kill you. This is something I'm actively working on.
- Wait until the door opening animation has ended before moving forward, you'll fall through the floor otherwise.
- Balancing efforts are still in progress. Add items or tweak values in the config to your liking if you feel like something is too hard/easy.
0.23-alpha
Building
- Mining and placing blocks no longer cost stamina. Holding left-click on a block (Minecraft blocks or Elden Ring terrain) no longer drains the stamina bar, and placing blocks is free. Attacks, misses, bows and crossbows cost stamina as before.
Signs
- You can now write on signs. Place a sign and type its text directly. Escape or Done saves it.
Merchants
New items in the shop:
| Item | Price | Available |
|---|---|---|
| Flint and steel | 400 | always |
| Zombie spawn egg | 1,200 | always |
| Creeper spawn egg | 1,500 | always |
| Obsidian ×10 (one portal frame) | 8,000 | after Godrick, Rennala, Radahn, Rykard or Morgott |
| Elytra | 200,000 | after Fire Giant, Maliketh, Hoarah Loux or the Elden Beast |
HUD
- Removed the small icon in front of the stamina bar..
0.22-alpha
New: Weather sync
- Elden Ring's weather now carries over into Minecraft. Rain, heavy rain, snow and heavy fog rain make it rain in Minecraft; storms bring thunder; everything else is clear.
- Minecraft's own rain isn't drawn (Elden Ring already draws the weather), but it still matters for gameplay: block lighting, mobs, fire and farmland all react to it.
- Thunderstorms are real Minecraft thunderstorms: lightning can strike, start fires and hurt you.
- Can be turned off with
"weather": falsein the host control config.
Merchants
- Merchants now offer a single Shop option that opens the Minecraft shop. The old Purchase/Sell pair is gone, so the native sell menu can no longer open underneath Minecraft.
- Fixed: choosing Shop no longer sticks on "Waiting..." until you pick Leave. The shop opens straight away, and closing it returns you to the merchant.
- Fixed: a paid purchase could get stuck and never finish, which made the shop flicker. Stuck purchases now finish on the next launch, without charging you twice.
- If the shop can't load, you're returned to the merchant after a few seconds.
Known issues
- Closing the map some other way (for example a controller button) leaves Minecraft hidden until you move or press M, G or Escape.
- Weathers added in the DLC are not recognised yet and stay clear in Minecraft.
0.21.10-alpha
Merchants
- Merchants now have a single Shop option that opens the Minecraft shop. The old Purchase/Sell pair is gone.
- Elden Ring's sell menu is no longer offered, since it opened underneath Minecraft and was hard to use.
- The shop opens straight from the merchant dialog, without the short "Waiting..." pause.
Map
- The Minecraft map is gone. M and G both open Elden Ring's own map.
- While the map is open, Minecraft is hidden (no HUD, hotbar or crosshair), so you can click and fast travel normally.
- Close the map with M, G or Escape. Minecraft comes back once you let go of the key, or after a fast-travel load.
- Fast travel now uses Elden Ring's map, so you don't need to be resting at a Site of Grace.
