v0.17.0 — Six evidence-led workflow kits
Adds six free, MIT-licensed, fixture-verified workflow kits:
- Spec to production proof
- AI workflow regression test
- Open-source coding-agent benchmark
- Document parser fidelity test
- Browser performance regression
- Safe dependency upgrade
Every kit includes a starter evidence ledger and a credential-free verifier. These are procedures and decision records, not unmeasured product rankings.
v0.16.1 — research-paper verifier fix
The research-paper recipe now resolves files and runs LaTeX relative to its own directory, matching the rest of the collection. All 11 recipe verifiers pass when invoked from the repository root.
v0.16.0 — Google Drive to Nextcloud migration kit
Adds a fixture-verified migration ledger for source authority, My Drive and shared-drive scope, Google-native conversion choices, access reconstruction, large-file and client tests, exact Nextcloud license and component checks, backup/restore, reconciliation, cutover, and rollback. The kit does not move production data.
v0.15.1 — Notion to Outline or AppFlowy
Corrects the destination license boundary in the Notion migration kit. Outline is source-available under BSL 1.1; AppFlowy's main repository is AGPLv3. The kit now requires exact component, edition, intended-use, and license checks before cutover. It retains the source inventory, representative pilot, fidelity reconciliation, hosting ownership, cutover, and rollback gates.
v0.15.0 — superseded: Notion migration license correction
Superseded by v0.15.1. This release incorrectly grouped Outline under open source. Outline's current repository uses Business Source License 1.1, which is source-available rather than open source. Use v0.15.1 for the corrected license boundary and migration ledger: https://github.com/Software-Sausage/recipes/releases/tag/v0.15.1
v0.14.0 — 1Password to Bitwarden migration
A secret-free planning and reconciliation kit for team password-manager migrations.
Includes destination access design, a synthetic one-time pilot, plaintext-export controls, attachment and passkey gates, reconciliation, cleanup, rollback, and self-hosting ownership checks. It does not automate secret movement or replace current vendor documentation and organizational security policy.
v0.13.0 — MCP server preflight
A free, pullable MCP server preflight kit.
It adds a worksheet and runnable structural verifier for recording:
- exact source, revision, digest, and startup command
- filesystem, network, credential, and mutation scopes
- OSV-Scanner and OpenSSF Scorecard evidence without treating scans as certification
- disposable first-run evidence and negative tests
- approval, revocation, ownership, and re-review decisions
All eight recipe verifiers pass. The kit is MIT licensed.
v0.12.0 — Devstral compatibility result
Adds an honest OpenCode + local Devstral Small 2 result on the fixed portable-agent fixture. The clean run failed after the model stopped on its own failing verifier; Qwen3-Coder-Next is documented as outside the current 24 GB VRAM test boundary. This is a single compatibility result, not a universal model ranking.
v0.11.0 — Automation platform reliability and exit test
Adds a vendor-neutral workflow inventory, billing-unit comparison, failure drills, and clean-instance reconstruction test for Zapier, Activepieces, n8n, or another automation platform. The kit uses synthetic data and never asks for production credentials or payloads.
v0.10.0 — Slack or Mattermost operating-boundary kit
A pullable 25-person Slack-versus-Mattermost decision kit with:
- a deterministic cost calculator and verifier;
- explicit managed, self-managed, and integrator-operated hybrid paths;
- a fillable operating-boundary worksheet covering hosting, upgrades, backups, calls, search, apps, identity, compliance controls, migration, and human operations; and
- current official source links plus clear separation of public prices, planning assumptions, and unknowns.
This is a planning scenario, not a customer migration benchmark or production Mattermost license quote.
