Installed copies update themselves from Settings → Updates. Install the Ubuntu package with sudo apt install ./Dioptra-1.0.2-ubuntu-amd64.deb; make the AppImage executable before opening it.
Mac packages keep the SolutionMAX signing identity for in-app updates. They are not notarized by Apple; a first manual install may need System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. The Windows installer is unsigned and may show SmartScreen.
