Join a Virtual Network
English | 繁體中文
To join, someone else must have already created a Virtual Network and given you three things: the host address, the network name, and the password. If you're the one hosting instead, see How to Create a Virtual Network.
Get these three things from whoever is hosting, through any channel you already trust:
-
Host address — an
ip:portstring - Network name
- Password
-
Open the Network page.
-
Make sure the Virtual Network tab is selected (next to "Manual" at the top of the panel).
-
In the Join a network box, fill in:
Field What to put Host address Exactly what the host gave you, e.g. 203.0.113.10:51820Network name Exactly what the host gave you Password Exactly what the host gave you -
Click Join.
-
The panel switches to network view. It now shows the network name, the host's address, and a live member list — you'll see yourself and everyone else already in the network.
You don't need to do anything else. You automatically connect to every other member (including the host), and they automatically connect to you — no manual offer/answer pasting. Each member's row shows a live connection-state dot as the links come up.
| Symptom | Likely cause |
|---|---|
| Can't reach the host at all | The host is probably behind a NAT without port forwarding — this is a hosting-side limitation, not something you can fix from your end. Ask the host to check How to Create a Virtual Network. |
| "Join" button stays disabled | All three fields are required — check none are empty. |
| Wrong network name or password | These aren't validated character-by-character as you type; double-check exactly what the host sent you. |
Click Leave Network in the panel, or close the app. Other members will see you drop out of their member list.
