AltStable 0.12.0
Opt-in automatic portraits, and enchants in words on the Roster. Own-account sync now runs only
through LibAccountSync. Measured on client 1.60.1.70334.
v0.10.0 and older no longer sync with your other Battle.net accounts. Update every account
to v0.11.0 or later; v0.11.0 and v0.12.0 sync with each other. Whisper sync with whitelisted
characters is unchanged.
AltStable Companion
The Roster's character portraits come from AltStable Companion, a free Windows app that turns
your /alts portrait captures into the transparent cutouts the scene draws (and can enhance them).
Without it, the scene has no one to show, and a capture is only two screenshots. Get it from
AltStable Companion releases.
There is no new version since v0.10.0. Every place that takes a portrait now says that it needs the
Companion.
New
- A new portrait when your look changes, if you want one
(#124). Off by default: turn on
Offer a new portrait when your look changes in Options, or type/alts portrait auto on.- When you change a visible piece of gear, a toast appears above the chat:
"New portrait in 5 minutes". Click it to take the portrait now, or the X to skip that look. - After a few seconds it shrinks to one line. The camera button to its left hides it and brings
it back. - When the countdown ends, it waits for a quiet moment before taking the portrait: two seconds
standing still, out of combat, not typing. - Alt+drag the camera button to move the toast. Alt+right-click puts it back.
- It never offers while you are dead, and it never asks you to reload afterwards.
- When you change a visible piece of gear, a toast appears above the chat:
- Enchants in words on the Roster
(#94). A character's audit lists each
enchanted slot with its enchant, such as "Stamina +2". To also see the enchant beside each
gear slot, turn on Show enchants beside the gear slots on a Roster character in Options.
Enchants sync with your other accounts. Each character shows its enchants once you have logged
it in on v0.12.0.
Removed
- The old Battle.net sync channel
(#206). Since v0.11.0, your accounts sync
through LibAccountSync, and the old channel only stayed for accounts on v0.10.0 and older.
