v0.1.19
π New: level with twitch.tv
Streams now play about as close to live as the Twitch site. Low latency is on
by default, and the gap behind live picks itself.
β¨ Features
- Low latency is on by default. Channels that support it play from the low-latency engine unless you turn it off, and turning it off sticks.
- Auto gap. The distance behind live is set to Auto and chosen per channel. Move the slider in Player settings to pick your own; the Auto button puts it back.
π Bug Fixes
- Behind live is measured the way you hear it. The old figure used a one-second correction that pointed the wrong way, so the player sat about a second behind the site while reporting it was on par. It now counts the real delay of Twitch's low-latency edge.
- Catching up finishes the job. When a stream falls behind, the player speeds up slightly until it is back at your gap, instead of stopping short and staying a little behind.
