FFmpeg Toolkit v10.2
What's new in 10.2
New tool: Video Crop & Stretch. It removes black edges from old or badly converted video.
- Stretch Mode: trims the edges, then stretches the picture to fill the frame again. The frame size stays the same (a 960×720 video stays 960×720).
- Crop Mode: trims the edges, and the frame gets smaller (960×720 becomes 936×720).
- Arrow keys: use the on-screen keys or the keyboard's arrow keys. → / ← trim more or less off the sides, and ↑ / ↓ off the top and bottom. The picture always stays centred.
- Live preview: in a pale-blue frame, so black edges stand out, with a time slider and a Before / After switch.
Taller window: the app now opens at 1150×845, centred and clear of the taskbar. Smaller screens get a window that fits.
Windows: download ffmpeg_toolkit_v10-2-W.exe below and put it in a folder with ffmpeg.exe and ffprobe.exe.
Linux (10.3-L): download the source, then run bash install.sh in LINUX PACKAGE. For an existing install, just copy the new ffmpeg_toolkit_v10-3-L.py into it.
