v0.1.0
First independent release
SunsetWan/pi-language-tutor now has an independently maintained main branch and release sequence. Version 0.1.0 starts this fork's releases. The upstream MIT license and copyright are retained.
Requirements and installation
- Pi 1.3.0.
- Node.js 22.19.0 or later.
pi install git:github.com/SunsetWan/pi-language-tutor@v0.1.0If you use the upstream extension, run pi list and remove its source with pi remove <source> before installing this fork. For the upstream npm package, use pi remove npm:pi-language-tutor. Remove any manually created extension symlink as well. Existing settings and flashcards remain in the same files.
Changes
- Support only Pi 1.3.0 and use its model registry, full-transcript context event, entry renderers, and agent settlement event.
- Keep writing checks, native-language tutoring, FSRS flashcards, and manual or automatic bilingual translation.
- Store settings and cards under Pi's configured agent directory.
- Publish GitHub Releases for Git installation. The package is private and has no npm publish workflow.
- Validate pull requests, main, and release tags in CI. Release tags must match both manifests.
Verification
- Typecheck, 149 tests across 5 files, lint, format checks, and package checks passed.
- Lint has no errors and one existing no-array-sort warning.
- The pinned Git installation resolves to the release commit and loads the lang, translate, and flashcards commands with no extension errors.
