• Keep keyboard and mouse selection on the visible TUI page after Back, Help
  and picker transitions. Discard buffered numbers from a previous mouse-selected
  page without removing prompt drafts.
• Ignore catalogue loads and delayed provider refreshes after their page is
  closed or replaced, including later visits to the same catalogue.
• Cancel pending first-task guide returns when connection setup is abandoned,
  while retaining the guide's return after successful setup.
• Retain keyboard focus inside an active interactive model picker, and remove
  the previous picker when another page replaces it.
• Stop and reap shell command trees on timeout or cancellation so child
  commands cannot keep running or hold Windows working directories open.
