Getting Started

Start STEMSTAGE and pick or create a profile (name, colour, optional PIN). Guest plays without saving.

The built-in demo song Neon Overdrive is ready straight away. Open Play → Solo, pick it, choose an instrument and difficulty, and press Play.

To add your own music, open Import:
- Audio files: drop MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG or M4A files, or a whole folder.
- YouTube: search, or paste a video or playlist link (uses yt-dlp).
Importing splits the song into stems (with the AI splitter: 1–3 minutes on an NVIDIA GPU), transcribes the notes and builds four difficulties. Title, artist, album and cover art are looked up automatically (MusicBrainz, iTunes).

Overdrive: hit every note of a glowing phrase to fill the meter, then tilt the guitar, press the overdrive button, or hit both cymbals on drums. It doubles your multiplier and revives failed bandmates.
Press △ / Y / Tab on a song for: Practice (slow down, start anywhere), Replays & ghosts, Add to setlist, Edit chart, Get lyrics (AI), Check lyrics online, Re-chart with AI, Edit song info, Export chart pack (Clone Hero / YARG), Delete.

F11 or Alt+Enter toggles fullscreen in the desktop app.
Tour takes you through seven venues, from the Garage to a festival main stage, unlocked by stars. The daily challenge keeps a day streak. Your career page shows XP, level, 34 achievements, history and your linked Discord account. Share profile publishes it as a web page anyone can open (stemstage.varconstint.com/player/?id=…): level and rank, achievements, stats, world rank and world records. It's copied to your clipboard, ready to paste in Discord. The page updates by itself after every run while Settings → World leaderboard is on.
The world leaderboard (Leaderboards → World, or on the website) ranks everyone's best runs per song, instrument and difficulty. Names link to profile pages.
